About Royal Prince Residence
Royal Prince Residence is an aparthotel on Soi Wirakit in Patong, a side street about 700 meters east of Bangla Road. Google lists it as apartments and two- to five-bedroom houses with kitchens or kitchenettes, plus an outdoor pool, so it suits a family or a group who want to cook for themselves more than anyone after a resort.
I'd read the recent reviews before booking. They're mixed, and several guests describe mold, old air conditioning and rooms that need upkeep, while others found it fine for the price and the space.

Tips for Visiting Hotels & Resorts
Compare OTAs and Direct Rates
Always check the hotel's own website after finding a rate on Agoda or Booking.com. Many Thai properties offer a best-rate guarantee or throw in perks like free breakfast when you book direct.
Location Matters More Than Stars
A well-located 3-star hotel often beats a remote 5-star resort. In Bangkok, staying near a BTS or MRT station saves hours; on islands, proximity to the beach you actually want matters most.
