Lub d Phuket Patong is a well-regarded hostel situated in the heart of Patong, offering both dormitory and private room accommodation for travellers looking to combine comfort with a lively social scene. The property sits on Thanon Sawatdirak, placing guests within easy reach of Patong's beaches, restaurants, and nightlife while remaining in a relatively quiet pocket of the neighbourhood. The hostel is particularly popular among younger international travellers, and the communal spaces are a genuine draw. Guests have access to an outdoor pool, a boxing ring, a bouldering wall, an open gym, table tennis, and a pool table — an unusually broad range of facilities for a hostel. Reviewers consistently highlight the cleanliness of the dorm rooms, the well-organised shared spaces, and a welcoming atmosphere that makes it easy to meet fellow travellers. Reception staff are frequently noted for being friendly and helpful. Room options range from multi-bed dorms to private rooms, making it a flexible choice for solo travellers, pairs, or small groups on varying budgets. Lub d operates around the clock, so late arrivals and early departures are accommodated without issue. Booking in advance is advisable, especially during Phuket's peak season between November and April, when demand for well-located, socially oriented hostels is high. Travellers who prefer a quieter, more solitary stay may want to consider whether the communal, activity-focused environment suits their needs before booking.

Visitor Reviews
This was my first ever hostel to stay in so I was definitely nervous initially to see what it would really be like especially the cleanliness. Let me say I was greatly impressed and thankful that it was a very decent stay! They do a great job keeping it clean. The bedding was good and clean and the showers were pretty clean and water is hot which was great. I was only there for two nights and on the go so I didn’t participate in the community/ group activities but it did seem as though it was a great time. The pool, bar and lounge area is very nice. I would definitely come back here if I’m by myself or with a friend or even my husband. Definitely expect to hear people coming and going. If you want an undisturbed night then don’t stay in a hostel lol. But honestly I would say that I slept fine and it’s to be expected that people will come and go out of rooms or the rooms next to you. They closed the active a pool area down at 10pm at least the two weekend days I was there. I wish they would have kept it open longer. Other wise I highly recommend if your looking for convenient location with a good quality stay fora hostel
Our stay at Lub d Patong was a very positive experience overall. I stayed in a 4 bed dorm and the first thing that stood out was how clean and well maintained everything was. The rooms were comfortable and thoughtfully designed, and the washrooms were consistently neat, which really matters when you are staying in a dorm. The common areas were another highlight. The lounges had a nice, relaxed vibe and were great for meeting people or just unwinding. The pool area was well kept and fun to spend time around, without ever feeling too crowded or noisy. The kitchen was a pleasant surprise. The food and fresh juices were genuinely good and convenient, especially after a long day of exploring. It did not feel like typical hostel food at all. We did have a grievance during our stay due to an issue that came up, but the way the management handled it made a big difference. They were attentive, supportive, and even offered compensation. That level of hospitality and care really stood out and made us feel valued. I would happily recommend Lub d Patong to other travellers.
I stayed in a dorm room here and had a great experience overall. The dorm was clean, comfortable, and well-organized, with a good atmosphere for meeting other travelers. The reception staff were friendly and helpful, especially Yaya, who was very welcoming and made check-in smooth. I also joined the pub crawl, and the guide did an excellent job leading the group — fun, well-organized, and made everyone feel included. Overall, it’s a lively and social place with great staff and a good balance between fun and comfort. I’d definitely recommend it, especially if you’re staying in a dorm and want to meet people.
