InterContinental Phuket Resort by IHG
Compare prices
Positioned along the relatively quiet stretch of Kamala Beach on Phuket's west coast, this InterContinental property delivers the kind of polished, full-service resort experience that the IHG luxury brand is known for. The setting strikes a balance between seclusion and accessibility, with a beachfront bar, dining options, and an outdoor pool forming the heart of the resort. Guests in Club rooms with sea views enjoy elevated comfort, and the attentive beach service — often praised by name in visitor feedback — reflects a strong culture of personalised hospitality throughout the property. Rooms are well-appointed and maintained to a high standard, with standout breakfast offerings frequently noted by guests. The resort also functions as a wedding and event venue, making it a popular choice for celebratory travel. Those sensitive to noise should be aware that some Club-level rooms near the pool area have experienced mechanical noise from pool equipment, so it is worth requesting a room away from that zone at the time of booking. For the best experience, travellers are advised to book well in advance, particularly for sea-view rooms during the high season between November and April, when Phuket's west coast enjoys calm seas and clear skies. Direct booking through the IHG website may unlock member rates and added benefits.

Visitor Reviews
Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I would highly recommend this resort to anyone visiting Phuket. I look forwa I had an exceptional stay at the InterContinental Phuket Resort. From the moment I arrived, the service was truly outstanding. Every team member was warm, professional, and genuinely attentive, making me feel welcomed and well taken care of throughout my stay. The food was equally impressive and beautifully presented, full of flavor, and crafted with great attention to detail. Each meal felt like a memorable dining experience especially at Tengoku and Sipping Tiger. The resort itself offers breathtaking views, creating a peaceful and luxurious atmosphere that makes it hard to leave. My room was spacious, impeccably clean, and thoughtfully designed, combining comfort with elegance. It was the perfect place to relax and unwind. What stood out most was the staff’s fairness and professionalism. They provided the same high level of service and hospitality to every guest, whether international or Thai, which truly reflects the heart of genuine hospitality.
Our stay at the InterContinental Phuket was truly memorable. From the very first moment, we were welcomed with genuine warmth and care, and the check-in experience immediately made us feel at home. What made this stay so special was the incredible attention to detail and the sincerity of the service throughout the hotel. It’s honestly impossible to single out one person, because every single staff member went above and beyond in the most natural, heartfelt way. You can truly feel the pride and passion the team has for what they do. The breakfast experience each morning was especially lovely, guided by a manager who clearly leads by example and creates such a welcoming atmosphere. This is the kind of hospitality that stays with you long after you leave. InterContinental Phuket delivers not just luxury, but genuine care, and we would return in a heartbeat.
Leo, Bee and Matti i were absolutely amazing! The beach service was the best and they worked extremely hard catering to all of us on the beach. Always with a smile and always polite. The entire hotel staff were a joy and super professional and kind. The food always came out quickly and delicious. The Hotel is extremely large and well kept. The rooms are very clean, definitely up to the high Thai standard. There are five pools and several restaurants serving a Variety of dishes. I enjoyed the atmosphere on the beach the most It was quiet and relaxing, even though it was a pretty busy beach. Again, thank you so much for the beach crew for making this vacation wonderful.
