How many days do you need in Thailand?
Two weeks is ideal for a first trip, enough for Bangkok, Chiang Mai and a southern island without rushing. One week works as Bangkok, Chiang Mai and Phuket with a day fewer in each, and ten days sits comfortably between the two.
What is the best month to go to Thailand?
November to February is cool and dry across most of the country. The Andaman coast (Phuket, Krabi, Phi Phi) has its monsoon from May to October, while the Gulf islands (Koh Samui, Koh Phangan, Koh Tao) are wettest from October to December, so one coast is usually in season when the other isn't. Chiang Mai's burning season is worst in March.
How much does a trip to Thailand cost?
Roughly ฿900–1,500 a day ($28–$46) on a budget, ฿2,500–4,000 ($77–$123) mid-range and ฿6,000–12,000 ($184–$368) or more for luxury, before international flights. The planner prices each day of your trip at its destination's own figures and shows the total in baht or US dollars.

Does the planner check opening hours?
Add a start date and every stop is checked against its listed hours for that day of the week. A place listed as closed, or closed at the time you've planned, is flagged under the stop.
