Took Took Prime - Thai Kitchen (Patong)
Tucked into the heart of Patong near Jungceylon shopping centre, this Thai kitchen draws a steady crowd with a menu that leans into crowd-pleasing flavours and some genuinely memorable desserts. Reviewers frequently single out the mango sticky rice and ice cream served in a coconut as highlights, and the traditional Thai tea also earns consistent praise. The cooking style trends toward accessible rather than strictly traditional — expect bold, well-seasoned dishes that suit a broad range of palates, though some diners note the menu has fusion elements alongside the Thai staples. The venue suits both relaxed afternoon meals and late-night dining, with the kitchen running until 3 AM every day of the week. That extended schedule makes it a practical choice after beach days, evening activities, or a browse through the nearby shopping centre. The space works well for small groups sharing multiple dishes, with several reviewers noting that portion sizing across shared plates lands about right. Good to know: the menu covers a wide range of dishes, so it is worth checking the restaurant's website at tooktookrestaurant.com before visiting to get a sense of what is on offer. Arriving earlier in the evening generally means a more relaxed experience, as the restaurant's proximity to Patong's busier entertainment areas can draw larger crowds as the night progresses.

Visitor Reviews
My boyfriend and I were looking for a nice Thai restaurant near Jungceylon shopping centre and I happened to see this recommended on Google maps so decided to give it a try. It was the best decision we made this trip. We ordered the morning glory, chicken Tom yum soup, papaya salad and a coconut drink - all were amazing. Probably the best Thai food I’ve eaten in my life. Would 10/10 recommend dining here, I’m already thinking of returning back here the next time im back in Phuket!
Took Took Prime – Thai Kitchen in Phuket was fantastic! The mango sticky rice is absolutely wonderful, honestly one of the best we’ve had in all of Thailand. We also tried the ice cream in a coconut and it was so tasty and refreshing. Great flavours, beautifully served, and definitely worth a visit. Highly recommend!
A really great find. The food was so tasty, we ordered a number of dishes between 3 people. It worked out to be a prefect amount. As the food was so tasty, we ate it all. The traditional Thai tea was full of flavour. I highly recommend this for all types of eaters, picky and adventurous.

Tips for Visiting Restaurants & Food
Learn the Spice Scale
Say 'mai pet' for no spice, 'pet nit noi' for a little spice, or 'pet mak' if you want it Thai-hot. Most cooks will default to a toned-down version for foreigners unless you specify otherwise.
Follow the Crowds
The busiest street stalls are almost always the best — high turnover means fresh ingredients and a recipe that locals vouch for. An empty restaurant at dinner time is a red flag.
Ice Is Safe
Factory-made tube or cylinder ice (used in virtually all restaurants and stalls) is made from purified water and is safe to consume. You don't need to skip the iced Thai tea.
