Popeyes Hostel Patong
Compare prices
Popeyes Hostel Patong sits directly on Thaweewong Road, placing guests within easy walking distance of Patong Beach, Bangla Road, and the restaurants and nightlife that make this Phuket's most energetic coastal strip. It operates as a hostel-style property catering to budget-conscious travellers and backpackers who prioritise location and a social atmosphere over resort-style amenities. Guests can expect a casual, communal environment with dormitory-style rooms including ladies-only dorm options. Reviews highlight friendly and attentive staff, with the beachside location drawing consistent praise. That said, the experience is not without variability — some guests have noted that privacy is limited in the dorm rooms, and the property does not have an elevator, which is worth considering if staying on upper floors or travelling with heavy luggage. The hostel attracts a mixed international crowd, making it a reasonable fit for solo travellers or small groups looking to meet other visitors. Good to know: Patong is Phuket's busiest beach destination, and the Thaweewong Road location puts guests at the centre of the action — convenient for daytime beach access but expect noise and activity well into the evening. Peak season runs from November to February, when booking in advance is strongly recommended. Prospective guests with specific concerns around cancellation policies or room configurations are advised to contact the hostel directly before booking, as communication experiences have varied according to reviews. Current rates and room availability can be confirmed through the hostel's website.

Visitor Reviews
My friends and I stayed here for two nights and enjoyed our stay so much. We got a beds in the ladies dorm which is located on the top floor. Please note that there is no elevator however it wasn’t an issue for us. The A/C was very cold. The bathrooms were clean and nice, shower and toilet in the same stall. The staff were really friendly and helpful. There are lockers for each person in the room, they were big enough to keep quite a few things in there (my small backpack). It is well located off a small alley from the main beach road (the alley by Subway). A short walk to the main attractions (walking street, food etc). The dorm had a balcony which was nice to hang up our towels and wet clothes.
Perfect stay friendly staff close to the beach and bangla road. Great host named Mine very caring
I had a great time here! a nice hostel right by Patong beach.
