Balcony Party Hostel sits in the heart of Ao Nang, Krabi, and has built a strong reputation as one of the area's go-to destinations for travellers seeking a social, high-energy stay. The hostel is adults-only and operates as more than just a place to sleep — it functions as a bar and social hub, with communal areas that stay lively from morning through to the early hours. Nightly events, including organised pub crawls, give guests a ready-made way to explore the surrounding bars and meet fellow travellers without any effort.
Accommodation comes in both dormitory and private room formats, catering to budget-conscious solo travellers and small groups alike. The location works in its favour, with shops, bars, and restaurants close at hand. Visitors consistently highlight the attentive and enthusiastic staff as a standout feature, noting that they actively contribute to the social atmosphere. The hostel's Google rating of 4.3 from over a thousand reviews reflects broad satisfaction, particularly among those who came specifically for the party experience.
Prospective guests should be aware that noise levels are significant — dormitories are not well insulated from the surrounding activity, which is worth considering for anyone hoping to get an early night. This hostel is best suited to travellers who are fully on board with the party-focused concept. Booking in advance is advisable, especially during peak season between November and April when Krabi draws its largest crowds.

Reviews from Google
We chose this hostel because of the location and the party scene, for which it is famous and have absolutely no regrets! The staff are attentive and made our stay amazing. A particular shout-out to Sophie and Krabi Island Adventures for the best island cruise experience of our trip! The hostel is located in the busiest part of Ao Nang and is surrounded by clubs and bars, which was a major plus for our friends trip, but if you struggle to fall asleep with music around you or are planning to go to bed early, this might not be the place for you (even though they do provide ear plugs on request). If you are, however, looking for a party and a great place to meet travelers, this hostel is the absolute best option!
Had an amazing stay at this party hostel! The atmosphere is lively from morning till night, the staff are fun and helpful, and the nightly events make it super easy to meet new people. The rooms are clean and comfortable for the price. If you’re traveling solo or with friends and want a social, party-friendly environment, this is the spot.
Good value for money. I came here because it was cheap. I knew there were bars around and that it was noisy, but I never would have thought it would be this noisy. The dormitories are poorly insulated so you can hear everything until 3am, sometimes 4am. Some bunk beds are poorly secured, so ask to be changed beds if this ever happens to you. However, the hostel is extremely well located it's right in front of the beach and there are a free breakfast which are a really good points. I recommend it for people who like to party or who are on a tight budget. Otherwise, it's not worth it. I asked at reception to rent me a scooter. It was in poor condition but I was satisfied given the price (250 THB per day), drive carefully. There are sometimes police raids; they check IDs and driver's licenses. Also, be careful not to park next to the red and white lines; it's prohibited, and if the police passes she immobilize the scooter. The reception also offers excursions to Koh Phi Phi, for example, or to James Bond Island etc etc
