Krabi Snake Park and Kingcobra show
Situated in Ao Nang, this snake park draws visitors with its live king cobra performances and the chance to get genuinely close to some of Thailand's most iconic reptile species. The experience is more intimate than many expect — guides lead small groups through the park, sharing detailed knowledge about snake behaviour, venom, and local ecology in a way that balances entertainment with genuine education. Visitors can expect to spend roughly 30 to 40 minutes at the park, with entry priced at 600 baht including the show. The cobra performance is the centrepiece, with handlers demonstrating the animals' behaviour in an open arena setting. Guests are typically invited into the circle during the show, and photo opportunities with various snakes are available throughout the visit. Reviews consistently highlight the approachability and knowledge of the staff, and the experience tends to feel personal rather than crowded, particularly during morning visits. Good to know: Arriving early in the morning is a practical choice — the park is less busy and the heat is more manageable, as portions of the experience take place outdoors. Since opening hours and current pricing are not widely confirmed online, it is worth checking with your accommodation in Ao Nang before heading over. The park's location makes it easy to pair with other Ao Nang activities on the same day.

Visitor Reviews
We visited the Krabi snake park on a morning of our trip to Krabi and it was brilliant. It felt that we had a really personal service. We were greeted by an extremely friendly guide who took us around to see each snake. He also gave us the opportunity to hold the snakes. He was so knowledgable and really made us laugh. We then attended the show which was absolutely brilliant and made us laugh so much. These guys really are brilliant, we smiled the whole way from start to finish. We even got a free lift back to our accommodation. Top tip: If you contact the snake park in advance they will pick you up from your accommodation and drop you back. Free of charge
I visited the Krabi Snake Park and thought it was absolutely amazing! The entire staff was incredibly friendly, helpful, and very welcoming. I was even allowed to take photos with many different snakes for free, which was a really special experience. The show was also really good and very entertaining. You can tell that the people there truly love what they do. There are many impressive and cool snakes to see, and the visit was a lot of fun. I can truly recommend the Krabi Snake Park to anyone who’s in the area, it’s definitely worth a visit!
The Krabi Snake Park turned out to be a really fun and fascinating place. The staff were super friendly and shared lots of interesting details about the snakes. Since I went early in the morning, I somehow ended up getting a private VIP show — it was just me, which made the whole experience even cooler! The show itself was exciting, and they were kind enough to give me a ride back to my hotel afterwards. For the price, it’s absolutely worth checking out. I’m really glad I went.
Tips for Visiting Activities & Tours
Vet Elephant Sanctuaries
Only visit sanctuaries that prohibit riding, use no chains or bullhooks, and let elephants roam freely. Elephant Nature Park in Chiang Mai set the standard. If a place offers painting shows or circus tricks, walk away.
Book Through Klook or GetYourGuide
These platforms offer instant confirmation, free cancellation on most activities, and prices that are often lower than walk-up rates. Compare with local agencies for multi-day trips where negotiation might save more.
Do Outdoor Activities in the Morning
Heat and humidity peak from noon to 3 PM. Schedule jungle treks, cycling tours, and outdoor cooking classes for early morning. Water activities are more flexible since you're in and out of the sea.
