Tandoori Night's Restaurant
Tandoori Night's Restaurant in Ao Nang has built a strong reputation as one of Krabi's standout dining options for travellers craving authentic Indian food, with a Thai menu that holds its own alongside the Indian offerings. Dishes like rich, flavourful curries draw consistent praise from visitors, and the warm, attentive service is a recurring highlight across reviews. The casual, welcoming atmosphere makes it a comfortable stop whether dining solo, as a couple, or with a group. The menu spans North Indian classics — tandoori dishes, curries, and breads — alongside Thai staples such as Panang curry and chicken basil with fried rice. This dual focus makes it a practical choice for mixed groups with different preferences. As a budget-friendly establishment, it delivers strong value without a noticeable dip in quality, which goes some way to explaining its loyal following among both backpackers and repeat visitors. Operating every day from 10:00 AM to 1:00 AM, the restaurant is well-suited to flexible travel schedules, including late returns from island day trips or evening beach walks. Given its popularity in a busy tourist corridor, arriving slightly before peak dinner hours — around 6:00 PM — can mean a shorter wait during high season. No website is currently listed, so walk-ins are the standard approach.

Visitor Reviews
Definitely the best Indian food in Ao Nang — you honestly don’t need to look anywhere else. The flavours are authentic, rich, and so satisfying, and the service is warm and attentive. The atmosphere is vibrant without being overwhelming, and the pricing is very fair for the quality. What we ordered: • Tandoori Chicken – an absolute flavour bomb; juicy, smoky, perfectly seasoned. • Chicken Rara – deeply comforting and incredibly satisfying. • Lachha Parantha – soft, flaky, and the perfect pairing with the curries. They also give a generous serving of onions and hari chutney on the side, which elevates the whole experience and makes everything taste even fresher. What I loved: • Consistent, delicious flavours • Fab service — quick and friendly • Good portion sizes • Vibrant yet comfortable ambience • Decent pricing for the quality Overall: A safe bet and easily the top Indian restaurant in Ao Nang. If you’re craving Indian food, this is the place to trust — great food, great vibe, and great value.
Loved the restaurant, loved the staff and loved their food. Highly recommended. Their indian food is top-notch. Thei thai menu is also good. Most of all, their staffs are super cool and friendly. My parents didn’t get the feeling of food until they have something from their own cuisine. As Bangladeshi restaurant is not here, so, the inidian cuisine comes to the closest. So, i took them there and it was absolutely worth it. We tried their 1) Stir Fried Fish Red Curry (Thai Cuisine) - 5/5 2) Fish Tawa (Indian Cuisine)-4.5/5 3) Mix Veg (Indian Cuisine) - 5/5 4) Dal Makhana (Indian Cuisine) - 5/5 5) Chapati (Indian Cuisine) -4/5 6) American Fried Rice (Thai Cuisine) 4.5/5 All were good. Food price is minimal. Highly recommend this place.
Some of the best curry we’ve had in all our travels, and trust me, we don’t hand out that compliment lightly. Tandoori Nights in Ao Nang knocked it out of the park. The service was exceptional, warm, and so attentive. We ordered the paneer lababdar, chicken curry, garlic naan, and cheese naan, and every single dish was five-star delicious. Rich flavours, perfect spice, and naan so good it should honestly have its own fan club. Highly recommend making this a must-stop meal in Ao Nang. You won’t regret it.

Learn the Spice Scale
Say 'mai pet' for no spice, 'pet nit noi' for a little spice, or 'pet mak' if you want it Thai-hot. Most cooks will default to a toned-down version for foreigners unless you specify otherwise.
Follow the Crowds
The busiest street stalls are almost always the best — high turnover means fresh ingredients and a recipe that locals vouch for. An empty restaurant at dinner time is a red flag.
Ice Is Safe
Factory-made tube or cylinder ice (used in virtually all restaurants and stalls) is made from purified water and is safe to consume. You don't need to skip the iced Thai tea.
