Why go, and how to do it well
The walk is the point. This place sits about ten minutes from Ao Nang's main strip, which is far enough to lose the noise and the touts, and people who make the trip tend to come back a second time in the same trip. That says more than any review score.
Order the Tod Man Khao Pod (corn fritters) or the roti with peanut sauce to start. For mains, pad kra pao moo and cashew chicken come up again and again, and the green curry and pad Thai hold their own. The kitchen will dial the heat up or down if you ask, so don't suffer in silence. Desserts are where people lose their heads, especially the deep-fried banana fritters and mango sticky rice. The Thai milk tea arrives with a flower in it. Seating is outdoors under plants, with wooden furniture that's more craft than furniture, and there's bug spray on the tables because you'll want it.

Okay this is the BEST place, I am still dreaming of it. We went there twice!! First off the staff are the kindest, sweetest most thoughtful and friendly people, service is 10/10 and beyond. Next the food is delicious and beautifully presented, the atmosphere is wonderful with beautiful plants and music. Drinks are incredible the Thai milk tea is wow and has a cute flower in it. Deserts are also super yummy we all tried each one, surprisingly the deep fried banana one was my favorite! The first night I ordered pad Thai and the second night the green curry which I asked for little spice and still was dying lol I had to add ice cubes from my drink into it to make it cold so I could eat it. Also my friend is celiac and they were so accommodating and asked great questions we were all super impressed with their knowledge and understanding and support of allergies. Would definitely recommend this spot and would love to come back one day. It’s also located down from the markets which is great so we would walk there after and then to the beach. Also prices were decent for how amazing everything is.
Went back to this place twice it was so good. One of the better places to eat in Ao Nang if you want authentic Thai. The first time we got the roti with peanut sauce, phad Kra Pao moo and cashew chicken with banana fritters for dessert. The banana fritters are a must try! The second time we got the spring rolls to start, with a pad Thai and green curry. All the food was delicious and they will adjust the spice to your liking. Bug spray on the tables as it’s outdoors and all the staff are extremely friendly and polite. Would highly recommend.
A family member recommended this restaurant and the food was so good, we went twice when we stayed in Ao Nang. If you go, be sure to try the appetizer Tod Man Khao Pod; so delicious. Not only is the food amazing, but it was so reasonably priced. We especially loved the eclectic wood furniture that are pieces of art, as well as handmade wooden containers they serve with peanuts. Frank and the staff were super friendly and polite.
