Srimantra Spa & Massage Chiang Mai
Situated on Thanon Chiang Mai-Lam Phun in central Chiang Mai, this spa and massage centre has built a strong reputation among both first-time visitors and returning guests for its skilled therapists and genuinely restorative atmosphere. The focus is firmly on traditional Thai wellness practices, with treatments ranging from classic Thai massage and reflexology to aromatic oil massages, herbal steam sessions, milk baths, and lime foot scrubs. A complimentary tea service before and after treatments is a noted touch that adds to the overall sense of care and hospitality. Visitors consistently highlight the professionalism and attentiveness of the therapists, with many appreciating that pressure levels are adjusted to individual comfort. The spa offers both standalone treatments and curated multi-hour packages — including options extending to five hours — making it a practical choice for a half-day of dedicated wellness rather than a quick drop-in. Package prices mentioned by visitors start around 1,500 THB for combination treatments lasting two and a half hours, offering reasonable value for the experience. Good to know: Specific opening hours are not listed online, so it is worth calling ahead or stopping by in person to check availability and book a treatment, particularly during Chiang Mai's peak tourist season between November and February. Multi-hour packages benefit from advance booking to secure preferred therapists and time slots. The central location makes it convenient to pair a spa visit with nearby sightseeing or an evening at the night markets.

Visitor Reviews
Fantastic place for a day at the spa. I got the package for reflexology, aroma therapy oil massage, and head massage for TB1,500 that lasted 2 hours and a half. The masseuse was friendly, accommodating and attentive through out my time at the spa. Reception staff were also very welcoming. Great facilities and high standards of cleanliness. By far the most comfortable disposable underwear was provided by this spa, it doesn't feel like wearing a diaper. The ginger tea and rice crackers at the end was a really nice touch. The price is slightly higher than other spas around but well worth the quality. Highly recommend to others visiting Chiang Mai.
I treated myself to the 5-Hour Treasure of Srimantra Package for my birthday and wow, what an experience. My therapist, Na, was amazing. She handled everything from the herbal steam and milk bath to the Thai, signature, and facial massages with such care and skill. They were so sweet to upgrade me to a full facial and even surprised me with a beautiful cake and warm birthday wishes! It’s quite the long experience with few pauses in between, so plan to settle in and enjoy the flow of treatments. The thoughtful upgrade and those special touches made it a truly wonderful birthday treat. Thanks again!
I just had the most amazing Spa day Pho at Srimantra Spa on Charoen Prathe Road in Chang Mai . After a busy few days touring , walking I was thinking about a massage . It was my last day and I was just walking to the old city and noticed the Spa . On a whim I walked in and asked if they had a male therapist . I ended forgetting about my walk and do a spa day . It was a Herbal sauna , followed by a body scrub , then a 2.5hr Thai massage , then a herbal compress treatment. After 5 hours all my aches and pain were gone . Can recommend this place enough .
Tips for Visiting Wellness & Spas
Learn Wat Pho First
Wat Pho in Bangkok is the birthplace of traditional Thai massage education. Their on-site massage pavilion offers excellent treatments from students and graduates at reasonable prices — and you know the technique is authentic.
Communicate Pressure Preferences
Thai massage can be intense. Say 'bao bao' for lighter pressure or 'nак nак' for harder. A good therapist will check in, but don't hesitate to speak up — suffering in silence defeats the purpose.
Book Longer Sessions
A 60-minute massage is fine, but 90 or 120 minutes allows the therapist to work thoroughly. The price difference is often only 200–400 THB for an extra hour — worth it for a deeper, more relaxing experience.
