SIAM MASSAGE & SPA
Tucked into the laid-back town of Pai in Mae Hong Son province, this massage studio has built a strong local reputation for skilled, traditional Thai massage at some of the most affordable prices in the region. Foot massages start at 200 baht for 30 minutes, with full-body sessions also available, making it an accessible option for budget-conscious travellers looking to recover after long days of hiking, motorbike rides, or Muay Thai training. The atmosphere is open and unfussy rather than spa-private, which suits the no-frills, results-focused approach of the therapists here. Visitors consistently highlight the attentiveness of the staff, with therapists adapting pressure and technique in response to individual needs. The herbal massage is a standout option, with at least one therapist known to use her own handmade oil. The overall experience is described by regulars and seasoned massage-goers alike as genuinely therapeutic rather than merely relaxing. Siam Massage and Spa is open every day of the week from 10:00 in the morning until 11:30 at night, making it a convenient stop whether arriving after a long journey or winding down at the end of an evening. No website is listed, so walk-ins appear to be the standard approach. Those with specific sensitivities or injuries are encouraged to communicate clearly before the session begins, as the therapists are noted for being responsive when given that guidance.

Visitor Reviews
came in with two blisters, whenever my foot twitched in pain, lady worked around it. she was attentive. 200 baht for 30 min foot massage. 250 baht for one hour. i did it for an hour. cried because im wrecked and the main lady got me tea and toilet paper ❤️i tipped the lady who massaged me 100 baht
If you like a strong, traditional massage with very good price, I recommend this place. It's not very private, but that's not a problem if you want a really intense massage. The first time I had a massage with a masseuse named Porn, and this time with Jiam. It was both excellent.
Probably the best massage ive had in Thailand. Had an hour full body and the massage therapist was thorough and listening the whole time. Walked out of there floating on a cloud. Super friendly people , i look forward to going back there before my trip from Pai comes to an end.

Tips for Visiting Wellness & Spas
Learn Wat Pho First
Wat Pho in Bangkok is the birthplace of traditional Thai massage education. Their on-site massage pavilion offers excellent treatments from students and graduates at reasonable prices — and you know the technique is authentic.
Communicate Pressure Preferences
Thai massage can be intense. Say 'bao bao' for lighter pressure or 'nак nак' for harder. A good therapist will check in, but don't hesitate to speak up — suffering in silence defeats the purpose.
Book Longer Sessions
A 60-minute massage is fine, but 90 or 120 minutes allows the therapist to work thoroughly. The price difference is often only 200–400 THB for an extra hour — worth it for a deeper, more relaxing experience.
