White Orchid Massage
Situated on the well-trafficked Loi Kroh Road in central Chiang Mai, this massage spa has built a solid reputation among both travellers and locals for delivering authentic Thai therapeutic experiences. The studio offers a range of treatments including traditional Thai massage, foot massage, upper body massage, and herbal compress sessions, with multiple visitors returning several times during a single trip — a reliable indicator of consistent quality. The atmosphere is clean and relaxing rather than luxurious, with an unpretentious focus on the treatments themselves. Therapists are noted for their attentiveness, professional technique, and willingness to accommodate individual needs — one visitor mentioned receiving an extra blanket without having to ask. Pressure levels are generally well-calibrated, and the setting provides a genuine respite from the pace of sightseeing. A 1.5-hour Thai massage with herbal compress represents strong value for the quality delivered. Worth noting is that service consistency can occasionally vary between visits, with at least one reviewer observing a difference in attentiveness on a repeat booking. No dedicated website is available, so checking recent reviews or contacting the venue directly for current pricing and hours is advisable. During Chiang Mai's peak tourist season from November through February, arriving early or arranging an appointment in advance helps avoid longer waits. Comfortable, loose clothing is practical for before and after treatments.

Visitor Reviews
My partner and I just had a massage here and it was amazing! The therapists are super professional and really know what they’re doing. They pay great attention to your needs — I even got an extra blanket when I felt a bit cold. My therapist noticed whenever I was tense, adjusted the pressure, and found every single knot in my body. We went for the Deep Tissue Massage and loved that we could stay together in the same room. It was such a relaxing experience. Highly recommend White Orchid Massage!
A very nice massage. Me and my husband been here 3 times in 5 days. Tried their Thai massage, upper body massage, foot massage, and all of them are excellent experience! Ae did the massage for me, she even remembered my pain points and changed the techniques accordingly🥹 Staffs are very friendly and nice, the cookies they offered after massage are also nice (tastes much better than others lol). We’ll definitely come back again!
Excellent value for the price. I had a 1.5-hour Thai massage with herbal compress, the pressure was just right, hit the spot. The environment is not at all luxurious, but it’s clean and relaxing.
Tips for Visiting Wellness & Spas
Learn Wat Pho First
Wat Pho in Bangkok is the birthplace of traditional Thai massage education. Their on-site massage pavilion offers excellent treatments from students and graduates at reasonable prices — and you know the technique is authentic.
Communicate Pressure Preferences
Thai massage can be intense. Say 'bao bao' for lighter pressure or 'nак nак' for harder. A good therapist will check in, but don't hesitate to speak up — suffering in silence defeats the purpose.
Book Longer Sessions
A 60-minute massage is fine, but 90 or 120 minutes allows the therapist to work thoroughly. The price difference is often only 200–400 THB for an extra hour — worth it for a deeper, more relaxing experience.
