Sky Beach Bangkok
Perched on the 78th floor of The Standard, Bangkok Mahanakhon, Sky Beach Bangkok is a rooftop bar with a beach club-inspired aesthetic and sweeping views across the capital's skyline. The yellow-themed design, relaxed seating, and open-air setting give it a distinctly casual feel compared to more formal rooftop venues in the city, making it a popular spot for sunset drinks and skyline photography. It sits adjacent to the Mahanakhon Skywalk, one of Bangkok's most visited observation decks, which means the surrounding area draws a steady flow of tourists throughout the day. Visitors can expect a laid-back atmosphere with a curated drinks menu, light snacks, and comfortable seating oriented toward the west — well-positioned for sunset views. The venue opens daily at 10:00 AM and runs through to midnight, functioning as both a daytime hangout and an evening bar. A key practical detail: entry to Sky Beach is tied to the Skywalk admission fee, currently around 1,300 baht per person, which typically includes a drinks or food voucher. Some visitors book combination packages through third-party platforms like Klook, which can offer better value. Note that because of the Skywalk connection, the bar area sees consistent tourist foot traffic throughout the day — those wanting a quieter experience may prefer arriving on a weekday evening. Seating along the west-facing row fills quickly, particularly around sunset, so arriving early to claim a spot is advisable.

Visitor Reviews
Nice atmosphere and Service. Mr.Puppap gave us a good service and have a terrific service mind. Snacks are lovely. We enjoy our twilight view here.
We got a package off Klook for the Skywalk and I-Tilt which were well worth it. Came across this bar at the Skywalk and spotted a row of tables facing west that have “I’m Taken” signs on them. Turns out they haven’t been reserved yet - you just need to meet the minimum spend of 2,000baht to use the tables which was about 2 cocktails, 1 beer, a bowl of chips and a hot dog between the two of us (yeah stuff is not cheap here). In the end was well worth it for the view and comfy seating. Best part was the staff - a couple of them were very proactive to offer to take photos for the seated patrons throughout the sunset / evening. No tips required though we tipped very happily anyway!
Sky Beach is a super chill rooftop spot with amazing city views and a fun yellow-themed design. The seating area is comfortable, great for sunset photos, and the vibe is relaxed. Drinks are refreshing and the staff is nice. A good place to unwind and enjoy the skyline.

Carry Your Passport or a Copy
Clubs and some bars check IDs strictly, especially in Bangkok's Thonglor, RCA, and Sukhumvit areas. A photo of your passport info page on your phone usually works, but carrying a laminated photocopy is safer.
Know the Closing Times
Legal closing time is 2 AM for most venues, though enforcement varies. In Bangkok's designated entertainment zones (RCA, Silom Soi 2/4, Khao San), some clubs stay open until 4 AM. Islands tend to be more relaxed about hours.
Buy Bucket Drinks Cautiously
Island bucket drinks (mixed spirits in a small bucket) are cheap and fun but notoriously strong and inconsistent. Stick to one, stay hydrated, and never leave your drink unattended at beach parties.
