Visitor Reviews
We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. We visited as a family, and the place truly impressed us with its charm and beautiful aesthetics. The service was great, but the highlight was definitely the breathtaking view from our rooms - it was a treat for the eyes. What made our experience unforgettable was something the hotel went above and beyond for. My husband and I approached the chef to ask if she could prepare a fruit-only cake for my mom’s birthday the next day. We showed her a reference photo, and she kindly said she would try to create something special. The next day, she surprised us with the most stunning cake I have ever seen. I cannot express how much this meant to us. Our trip was planned around celebrating my mom’s birthday, and this thoughtful gesture made her day. She loved the cake so much that she danced with it - a moment that has become a core memory for me. I want to express my heartfelt appreciation for this chef (I believe her name is Kornika). Her creativity, kindness, and humility turned a simple request into something truly meaningful. I am deeply grateful for the joy she brought to my mom and to all of us.
Our stay at the Shangri-La Bangkok was truly wonderful from start to finish. The staff were extremely polite, attentive, and always ready to help with a warm smile. Their professionalism and genuine hospitality made the entire experience feel special and welcoming. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. Although some of the furniture is a bit older in style, everything was well maintained and added a certain classic charm to the atmosphere. The bed was especially comfortable, ensuring a great night’s sleep. Breakfast was absolutely marvelous, with a wide variety of fresh and delicious options to suit every taste. It was the perfect way to start each day. The pool area was also a highlight — peaceful, relaxing, and beautifully maintained. It was a great place to unwind after a day of exploring Bangkok. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for its excellent service, comfort, and relaxing ambiance. I would gladly stay here again!

I would like to sincerely compliment the staff, especially Khun Nuch, Khun Fon, Khun Tar and Khun Champ, for their professionalism, warm smiles, and friendly service. From the welcoming greetings to the attentive care throughout our stay, every detail was handled with genuine care. Thank you for providing such a wonderful and memorable stay. It was truly impressive, and I look forward to coming back again.
Tips for Visiting Hotels & Resorts
Book Shoulder Season
May–June and September–October offer dramatic discounts (30–50% off peak rates) with fewer crowds. Weather is mixed but rarely a washout — afternoon showers clear quickly.
Compare OTAs and Direct Rates
Always check the hotel's own website after finding a rate on Agoda or Booking.com. Many Thai properties offer a best-rate guarantee or throw in perks like free breakfast when you book direct.
Pool Villa Doesn't Mean Expensive
Private pool villas in Krabi, Hua Hin, and Chiang Mai start around 2,500–4,000 THB/night — a fraction of Bali or Maldives prices. Search specifically for 'pool villa' to surface hidden gems.
