Mahanakhon Eatery

4.2(215 reviews)

Mahanakhon Eatery is a food court-style dining space located at the base of the iconic King Power Mahanakhon skyscraper on Naradhiwat Rajanagarindra Road in Si Lom, one of Bangkok's most connected central districts. Rather than a single kitchen, the venue brings together around seven food and beverage outlets under one roof, allowing visitors to order from multiple stalls and pay on a single bill — a practical setup for groups with varied tastes or travellers wanting to sample different cuisines in one sitting. The format suits a casual, flexible meal rather than a formal dining occasion. Visitors can expect a range of food, drinks, and desserts across the outlets, with the ICI dessert stall drawing particular attention. Reviews note that the eatery opens earlier than the Mahanakhon observation deck, making it a convenient spot for coffee or a light breakfast while waiting for the tower experience to begin. Seating is shared across the space, and service has been described as occasionally slow during busier periods. On the practical side, it is worth noting that some visitors have found certain dishes overpriced relative to quality, so it pays to be selective when ordering. The eatery operates every day from 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM, though staff may begin clearing tables before official closing time. The venue sits close to Chong Nonsi BTS station and near King Power's duty-free shopping, making it easy to fold into a broader day out in the area. Check the website at mahanakhoncube.com for current outlet listings before visiting.

Visitor Reviews

If you're arriving early, Mahanakhon Eatery is a fantastic place to relax with a cup of coffee while waiting for the main Mahanakhon experience to begin—it opens earlier, making it a convenient starting point. You can head up to the main attraction, enjoy the key activities, then return for a delicious lunch at the eatery before continuing with the rest of your visit. The food was impressively appetizing and beautifully presented, with a great mix of hot and cold options. I was genuinely surprised by the quality and variety available. Prices were more affordable than expected, especially for such a popular Bangkok destination. I had a generously sized spicy chicken dish that kept me full all day, and the ramen noodles came in a massive portion—definitely satisfying! The dining area is spacious with plenty of seating, making it ideal for indoor dining. It caters to a steady flow of visitors and still manages to feel comfortable. Bonus points for using real silverware—it adds a nice touch of class. I really enjoyed my brunch here. The morning hours are especially peaceful, offering a more relaxed atmosphere before the evening crowds arrive. Highly recommend stopping by for a memorable and tasty experience!

Amazing value, now available everyday and not just Sunday! Great for 3-4 pax. We were 2 but we ordered it still because it was such an amazing value that we were will be sorry to miss it. We added the wine package. Amazing and very attentive service too. Loved it.

You can sit at anywhere in this eatery and order from any restos in there. I like that there are varieties of food. Service is a bit lagging. Food was alright. ICI dessert was interesting. -1 star though. After we finished paying, we found out there’s 10% voucher being handed out. No one informed us about the discount 😒

Tips for Visiting Restaurants & Food

Learn the Spice Scale

Say 'mai pet' for no spice, 'pet nit noi' for a little spice, or 'pet mak' if you want it Thai-hot. Most cooks will default to a toned-down version for foreigners unless you specify otherwise.

Follow the Crowds

The busiest street stalls are almost always the best — high turnover means fresh ingredients and a recipe that locals vouch for. An empty restaurant at dinner time is a red flag.

Ice Is Safe

Factory-made tube or cylinder ice (used in virtually all restaurants and stalls) is made from purified water and is safe to consume. You don't need to skip the iced Thai tea.
