Mustache Bangkok
Mustache Bangkok has carved out a distinct identity in the city's nightlife scene as one of Bang Rak's go-to destinations for electronic music lovers. Situated on Decho Road, the venue draws a crowd that takes its music seriously, with a quality sound system and DJ sets that lean heavily into techno and dance music. Regulars with backgrounds in the European club circuit — London, Ibiza, Berlin — have noted it holds its own against those reference points, which speaks to the calibre of the music programming on offer.
The atmosphere builds as the night progresses, typically starting quieter in the early hours before filling out into a proper dancefloor crowd. The mid-range pricing keeps things accessible without sacrificing the experience, and the welcoming door policy means walk-ins are generally received without fuss. The venue functions as both a bar and a club, so there is flexibility in how you engage with the space — whether you are there to drink and socialise or to dance through the night.

The vibe here is amazing! The DJ is great and the music is absolutely on point super fun to dance to. At first there weren’t many people, but it got busier later and the atmosphere became even more exciting. Definitely a must for party lovers. The price is quite high, but opening a VIP table is totally worth it because it’s way more comfortable. The guards are strict and do their job well, though sometimes they feel a bit unfriendly. The staff, however, are very attentive and take good care of customers.
The place was great. The ambience and the crowd was amazing. I went with my friend and they welcome us without any reservation. It was not that crowded so that is amazing for Christmas Eve day
Wouldn't try again, at least not on a Wednesday. It was too empty for a good mood to develop. We entered at 23:00 and met like 8 other people. Left at 1:00 (near closing time at 2:00) and there were like 20 people. DJ, music and sound system were okay in my eyes but a bit monotonous (matter of taste) and too loud (even with plugs, and usually I like it loud). Staff was friendly but what rubbed me the wrong way is that you feel like a cash cow more than a customer. You aren't even allowed to sit, if you don't book a VIP area... All tables were "reserved" so even putting down a drink felt weird. I asked for a bar chair so my girlfriend could have a short dancing break. Answer of the waitress: "It is not allowed"... Really?? I had to "threaten" that we would leave (and therefore not drink/buy anything else) if she couldn't sit... After that the waitress hesitatingly brought one from the back. Plus drinks were taken away even though still 1/3rd full. Not the service I would expect. Welcome drink was included (entrance around 400 Baht, a Gin Tonic was about 370 Baht).

Tips for Visiting Nightlife & Bars
Carry Your Passport or a Copy
Clubs and some bars check IDs strictly, especially in Bangkok's Thonglor, RCA, and Sukhumvit areas. A photo of your passport info page on your phone usually works, but carrying a laminated photocopy is safer.
Know the Closing Times
Legal closing time is 2 AM for most venues, though enforcement varies. In Bangkok's designated entertainment zones (RCA, Silom Soi 2/4, Khao San), some clubs stay open until 4 AM. Islands tend to be more relaxed about hours.
Buy Bucket Drinks Cautiously
Island bucket drinks (mixed spirits in a small bucket) are cheap and fun but notoriously strong and inconsistent. Stick to one, stay hydrated, and never leave your drink unattended at beach parties.
