Compare prices
Hotel M Chiang Mai sits in one of the city's most convenient locations, directly in front of the historic Tha Pae Gate and within easy walking distance of local eateries, convenience stores, and key attractions in the Old City. The hotel strikes a balance between style and practicality, offering clean, well-presented rooms alongside a hip on-site cafe and an outdoor pool. Guests consistently highlight the warmth of the staff and the quality of the complimentary breakfast, with the Pad Thai earning particular praise. As a three-star property, Hotel M delivers solid value rather than luxury, and visitors who approach it with realistic expectations tend to come away satisfied. The hotel is open around the clock, making it well-suited to travellers arriving on early or late flights. A taxi from Chiang Mai International Airport runs approximately 150 baht, making the transfer quick and affordable. Free Wi-Fi and parking are included, adding further everyday convenience. Travellers sensitive to noise may want to request a room at the rear of the property, as the front-facing rooms can pick up street-level activity, particularly during public holidays and local events. The hotel suits couples, families, and solo travellers looking for a clean, centrally positioned base from which to explore Chiang Mai's temples, night markets, and surrounding region. Booking directly through the hotel's website is worth considering for the most up-to-date room options and rates.

Visitor Reviews
It was an amazing hotel to stay at. Close to everything, staff was amazing and friendly. Only thing I had a problem with was the noice. We were there during the valentines day holiday and they had this amazing flower parade with a lot of loud(but good) music. We should have chosen a room towards the back of the hotel to avoid most of the sounds.
Great stay at Hotel M! You can’t beat the location right by Tha Pae Gate. The hotel is stylish, very clean, and the staff are lovely. It was a comfortable and convenient base for our family trip to Chiang Mai. Great value for money.
Very central location. The hotel is located right in front of thapae gate, nearby Mcdonald's, Boots, 7 Eleven and local eateries. Breakfast was surprisingly good especially the Pad Thai. Rooms were clean, comfortable and basic.
