Centara Grand Mirage Beach Resort Pattaya

4.6(13,798 reviews)

Centara Grand Mirage Beach Resort Pattaya sits along the coast of Naklua Bay, north of central Pattaya, and stands out as one of the region's most well-rounded family resort destinations. Built around a Lost World adventure theme, the property features a dedicated water park with multiple slides, a large swimming pool, and direct beach access — making it a particularly strong choice for families travelling with children. Six on-site restaurants and a spa round out the offering, alongside bars and lounges that cater to guests looking to unwind after a day in the water. Rooms are consistently described by guests as comfortable and well-maintained, with most offering ocean views, along with both bath and shower facilities. The housekeeping team receives frequent praise for attentiveness and cleanliness. The atmosphere throughout the resort is welcoming and relaxed, with staff noted for their friendliness and helpfulness from check-in onwards. The resort carries a strong reputation for delivering a stress-free stay, particularly for those travelling as a family or on a leisure break. Given the resort's popularity with families and its range of facilities, booking well in advance is advisable, especially during Thai school holidays and the peak November-to-February high season when the weather along the Eastern Gulf Coast is at its most settled. Guests are encouraged to check the official Centara website directly for current packages, as rates and inclusions can vary significantly depending on the season.

Visitor Reviews

My sister and I enjoyed our stay from start to finish. The whole place felt very relaxing, and it was the perfect spot for a stress-free getaway. The staff were friendly and accommodating throughout our stay, always ready to help and making us feel welcome. The waterpark was absolutely awesome - we had so much fun going down the slides and floating along the lazy river for hours. We also had a lovely experience at the breakfast buffet thanks to Deb, who took care of us. She was very friendly, always smiling, and made us feel genuinely welcome every morning. She was also really helpful, checking on us often, offering refills, and making sure we had everything we needed without us even having to ask. Little things like that made our mornings in the resort so much better and started our day on a positive note. Highly recommend the breakfast here and truly appreciate her warm and attentive service.

Our stay at this resort was absolutely wonderful. The room offered a cozy atmosphere with comfortable bedding and a breathtaking ocean view. With a spacious swimming pool, multiple water slides, and a nature-friendly environment, it was the perfect place for our family to enjoy quality time together. We especially loved our experience at the Zulu Family Club Lounge. The service there was outstanding. From breakfast and afternoon tea to happy hour, they provided fresh food, fruits, and drinks at every session. A special shout-out to the staff members—Arwi, Dors, and Donuts—who always greeted us with warm smiles, served excellent drinks, and ensured we had a peaceful dining experience. The kids' play area and the child-friendly food options were perfect. If we visit Pattaya again, we will definitely choose this resort and the Club Lounge option without hesitation!

The experience till now for us has been very good, the location is really beautiful and people are really welcoming. The setting and atmosphere is also very kid friendly and fun. One thing we found a tad bit lacking though, was the food variety for vegetarians or vegans. There no options in eggless bakery products and barely any dishes without pork or meat or egg. Everything else but that was very lovely. The staff, like Minny, Nat, Benz and Moei continue to facilitate us and attend to our every wish. Overall, it has been very pleasant and wonderful. Our stay has been very luxurious, the water park, as quoted by the kids is “ awesome” and the view from our room our also breathtaking.

Book Shoulder Season

Always check the hotel's own website after finding a rate on Agoda or Booking.com. Many Thai properties offer a best-rate guarantee or throw in perks like free breakfast when you book direct.

Pool Villa Doesn't Mean Expensive

Private pool villas in Krabi, Hua Hin, and Chiang Mai start around 2,500–4,000 THB/night — a fraction of Bali or Maldives prices. Search specifically for 'pool villa' to surface hidden gems.
