Garden Yard Inn Chiangmai 清迈院子院子客栈
Compare prices
Nestled on a quiet soi off Rachadamnoen Road in the heart of Chiang Mai's old town, Garden Yard Inn is a boutique guesthouse that blends traditional Thai character with industrial-chic design touches, including exposed pipes and tasteful courtyard spaces. Its location within the walled city puts guests within walking distance of major attractions, temples, and the Sunday Walking Street, while the property itself remains a calm and well-maintained retreat from the bustle outside. Guests consistently highlight the tranquil atmosphere, attentive owners, and the appeal of the garden courtyard as standout features. Rooms are air-conditioned and the overall aesthetic leans decorative and considered rather than generic. The inn also offers practical amenities such as laundry service, and the hands-on hospitality from staff adds a personal touch that larger hotels rarely provide. Families, solo travellers, and couples have all noted feeling comfortable and well looked after during their stays. Good to know: the reception operates on limited hours, opening daily from 08:00 to 12:00, so guests should plan arrivals and any queries around that window or arrange communication in advance. Booking ahead is advisable, particularly during Chiang Mai's peak season between November and February. The inn maintains a Facebook page for direct enquiries and updates.

Visitor Reviews
This stay was absolutely lovely! I originally booked for two nights because of a few disappointing hotel and Airbnb experiences before, but I ended up staying a total of five nights and I honestly wish I could’ve stayed two more! Unfortunately, they were fully booked, and I completely understand why. The room was spacious, spotless, and had a large, comfortable bed. The bathroom was also big and clean. The only minor issue was a few mosquitoes in the bathroom, likely coming through the ventilation area, but once I mentioned it, the staff immediately provided spray and took care of it. The pool was beautiful and relaxing, and the property is tucked away in a quiet neighborhood while still being in an excellent location plenty of restaurants, cafes, and shops within walking distance. The owner and staff were all so kind, helpful, and welcoming. This was easily my favorite stay out of the four places I tried in Chiang Mai.
We booked this hotel based on the reviews here. And they did not lie. This is an absolute little gem in the middle of the old town. We enjoyed it a lot. Our son could play on the condo and had te time of his life. We could relax and once out of the gate everything is on walking distance. Would absolutly recommend a booking here.
This place is absolutely beautiful, peaceful and so well taken care of. This has to be my favorite place I have ever stayed at. It is at a great location, it is so well maintained, they have laundry service and are so kind. I really recommend to everyone coming to Chiang Mai.
