Zen Sense Health Spa
Conveniently situated on Tha Phae Road within easy walking distance of the landmark Tha Phae Gate, this massage spa draws visitors looking for a genuine respite from the pace of Chiang Mai's busy tourist centre. The spa combines traditional Thai massage techniques with aromatic oil treatments, and visitors consistently highlight the calm, clean interior, soft lighting, and attentive therapists as defining features of the experience. Treatments on offer include Thai aroma massage with a choice of scent blends, with full-body sessions available at accessible price points — one visitor noted a one-hour Thai Aroma Massage at 590 THB. Longer sessions of 120 minutes are also available for those wanting a more extended treatment. The atmosphere is described by guests as peaceful and well-presented, making it a comfortable choice for solo travellers, couples, and small groups alike. The spa operates every day from 9am to 11pm, offering flexibility for both morning sessions before sightseeing and evening wind-downs after a day exploring the city. Evening slots tend to fill up, so arriving in the late morning or early afternoon is a practical way to avoid waiting. As no website is currently available, it is worth stopping in person to check treatment availability or asking your accommodation to assist with enquiries before your visit.

Visitor Reviews
Relaxing ❤️ Freshening ❤️ Mind Soothing ❤️ Great Atmosphere ❤️ Magical Hand ❤️ I took the Thai Aroma Massage (full body). I chose the Golden Spice aroma. It was magical which cost me 590 THB for 1 hour 30 minutes on 30 Oct 25. Foot, Leg, Thai, Hand, Finger, Shoulder, Head, Back and Chest massage was surreal. The lady was very attentive, polite, well behaved and not but the least she had magical hands. She magically massaged all the muscle then rubbed with oil and massage again. The soft music at times made me feel asleep. They allowed me to take shower first as I had a long drive and exhausted. They maintains top notch hygiene and privacy. I was provided with one time use underwears, fresh towel and bath robe. After the massage I took shower again with a sweet smelling body shower gel. The receptionist speaks English well and the massage lady speaks a little English. They enternained with traditional Thai tea and puffed rice cookie afterwards. All my stress and tiredness just vanished. Will visit again when I come to Chiang Mai.

Tips for Visiting Wellness & Spas
Learn Wat Pho First
Wat Pho in Bangkok is the birthplace of traditional Thai massage education. Their on-site massage pavilion offers excellent treatments from students and graduates at reasonable prices — and you know the technique is authentic.
Communicate Pressure Preferences
Thai massage can be intense. Say 'bao bao' for lighter pressure or 'nак nак' for harder. A good therapist will check in, but don't hesitate to speak up — suffering in silence defeats the purpose.
Book Longer Sessions
A 60-minute massage is fine, but 90 or 120 minutes allows the therapist to work thoroughly. The price difference is often only 200–400 THB for an extra hour — worth it for a deeper, more relaxing experience.
