The Sky Garden Cafe And Brasserie
Set in Tambon Pak Phraek in the heart of Kanchanaburi, this cafe and brasserie stands out for its expansive garden grounds, rooftop setting, and distinctive touches like resident pygmy goats and abundant flowering plants. The property is notably spacious with generous parking, and the combination of open-air garden areas and an air-conditioned indoor section gives visitors flexibility depending on the weather or their preference.
The menu spans cafe staples and brasserie-style dishes, with coffee and beverages drawing consistent praise from visitors. The gardens are well-curated and make for a scenic backdrop, particularly popular with those travelling with dogs. It is worth noting that some visitors find the pricing higher than comparable spots in Kanchanaburi, and experiences with food quality have varied, so expectations are best set accordingly. The venue is also pet-friendly, which adds to its appeal for travellers with animals.
The cafe opens at 10:00 AM on weekdays and 9:00 AM on weekends, closing at 9:00 PM daily, making it a flexible option for breakfast through to dinner on Saturdays and Sundays. Those visiting on weekends or during peak hours should be prepared for busier service, as the venue attracts steady crowds. Visiting on a weekday or arriving early in the day offers a more relaxed experience and better opportunity to explore the garden grounds at a comfortable pace.

Reviews from Google
Very biutiful place. Food and coffee are good but price a more high than in another places. But this worth it. Big parking big territory. A lot of flowers. Have air-conditioning building and beach club near river.
The staff are very nice, and the design and curation of the place is wonderful. The gardens are beautiful and the pygmy goats are super cute. Unfortunately on the day we visited they were very busy and food took a very long time, came at different times (we only ordered 1 dish with fries) and the recommended dish from the menu wasn't as good as hoped. The restaurant staff were apologetic and very nice. Most people seemed to be ordering hot pot and drinks.
The location, ambiance and service are nice but the food and drinks were below average given the higher price compared to restaurants in the area. I came here especially because of the good comments and the restaurant was below my expectations

Tips for Visiting Restaurants & Food
Learn the Spice Scale
Say 'mai pet' for no spice, 'pet nit noi' for a little spice, or 'pet mak' if you want it Thai-hot. Most cooks will default to a toned-down version for foreigners unless you specify otherwise.
Follow the Crowds
The busiest street stalls are almost always the best — high turnover means fresh ingredients and a recipe that locals vouch for. An empty restaurant at dinner time is a red flag.
Ice Is Safe
Factory-made tube or cylinder ice (used in virtually all restaurants and stalls) is made from purified water and is safe to consume. You don't need to skip the iced Thai tea.
