Cheatday Cafe & Bistro

The cafe has built a strong reputation for tasty, well-executed dishes in a laid-back setting, making it a natural stop for visitors exploring the town after a day of sightseeing.
The menu caters to a range of tastes, and staff are notably accommodating when it comes to dietary requests — vegetarian modifications are available on many items, with the egg fried rice earning particular praise from repeat visitors. An English menu is on hand, removing any language barrier for international guests. The atmosphere is relaxed and unhurried, and both the food and drinks are described by visitors as reasonably priced for what is on offer.

Reviews from Google
Just had some gorgeous dishes here at Cheatday Cafe after checking into our hotel. The lady who was on the till today serving us was very friendly. They have an English menu to flick through, and whilst there isn't 'vegetarian' written down on the meals, they were very accommodating to take away the meat of the dish and serve with an option of a thai omelette which was very tasty. Very reasonable pricing for great quality food! My partner and I got two dishes each and bottled water which was just under 400baht on total. Great portion sizes. Would (and will) be coming back here again!
Food and drinks taste great. Reasonably priced. Ambiance is chill. No exclusive parking. Just park along the side of the road.
Delicious food. However, hard to find a parking space.

Tips for Visiting Restaurants & Food
Learn the Spice Scale
Say 'mai pet' for no spice, 'pet nit noi' for a little spice, or 'pet mak' if you want it Thai-hot. Most cooks will default to a toned-down version for foreigners unless you specify otherwise.
Follow the Crowds
The busiest street stalls are almost always the best — high turnover means fresh ingredients and a recipe that locals vouch for. An empty restaurant at dinner time is a red flag.
Ice Is Safe
Factory-made tube or cylinder ice (used in virtually all restaurants and stalls) is made from purified water and is safe to consume. You don't need to skip the iced Thai tea.
