Nicha Massage and Relax
Tucked away on U-Thong Soi 2 Road in the heart of Kanchanaburi, this small massage studio has built a loyal following among both short-term visitors and longer-stay travellers. What sets it apart, according to regular clients, is the sense of personal care and attention — several reviewers note feeling genuinely looked after rather than rushed through a session. The studio offers oil massage and deep tissue massage, with therapists such as Liz and Nang frequently mentioned by name for their skill and technique. The deep tissue work in particular draws strong praise, with one visitor returning almost daily over a two-week stay to address chronic hip and lower back pain. Oil massage sessions are described as thorough and tailored, with therapists checking in on pressure preferences. That said, experiences can vary depending on the therapist, and at least one visitor found the standard of their session inconsistent, so it may be worth requesting a specific practitioner if one has been recommended to you. As opening hours are not publicly listed and the studio has no website, it is advisable to visit in person or ask your accommodation to assist with contact details before making a special trip. The address places it in the Tambon Ban Tai area of Mueang Kanchanaburi district, making it a reasonable stop for those already exploring the town centre.

Visitor Reviews
Ask for Nang! I was lucky enough to get a treatment from Nang, just even on one of her first days. I have some experience and knowledge about Thai Massage. And so I could realize instantly, that she very much knows what she is doing, very professional. She always realized very quickly, where my problems was and could help me a lot. On a scale from one to ten, I give a twenty...
I went here twice, first with my partner and second time alone. I had the oil massage for 90 minutes and this was amazing (with the older lady, maybe shipowner?). She was kind, asked me how strong I wanted it and the medium strong I asked for, I got. She triggered every sore spot and really worked on getting the knots out of my body. Highly recommend!
Absolutely fantastic outstanding massage. I'm super happy. It was one of my best in Thailand - I felt seen as a human and good taken care of. (Not like a product in a factory- like other massage places). It's super clean, very friendly, quiet and just overall a great experience. Also good price. I will be back 😀

Tips for Visiting Wellness & Spas
Learn Wat Pho First
Wat Pho in Bangkok is the birthplace of traditional Thai massage education. Their on-site massage pavilion offers excellent treatments from students and graduates at reasonable prices — and you know the technique is authentic.
Communicate Pressure Preferences
Thai massage can be intense. Say 'bao bao' for lighter pressure or 'nак nак' for harder. A good therapist will check in, but don't hesitate to speak up — suffering in silence defeats the purpose.
Book Longer Sessions
A 60-minute massage is fine, but 90 or 120 minutes allows the therapist to work thoroughly. The price difference is often only 200–400 THB for an extra hour — worth it for a deeper, more relaxing experience.
