Factory Beer Garden
Factory Beer Garden is a genuine local hangout on Maharaj Road in Krabi town's Pak Nam area, drawing a predominantly Thai crowd of families, friends, and regulars rather than the tourist-heavy venues found closer to the islands. That authenticity is a big part of its appeal — visitors who find their way here often describe it as a refreshing change of pace from the backpacker bar circuit. The space is large and open-air, with a relaxed beer garden format that suits both groups and solo travellers. Live music runs every night, leaning toward Thai pop, and the energy tends to be upbeat without being overwhelming. The menu covers both drinks and food, with pricing that sits comfortably in the mid-range — reviewers consistently highlight the value on offer. Cold beers, cocktails, and a broad selection of Thai dishes make it easy to settle in for a full evening rather than just a quick drink. Good to know: Factory Beer Garden opens at 6pm every day of the week and stays open until 1am, so there is no need to plan around closing days. Arriving earlier in the evening, before 9pm or so, means more space and easier conversation before the crowd builds. Dress code is casual — no special preparation needed. There is no website listed, so walk-ins are the way to go.

Visitor Reviews
It is another thai topical restaurant with live music Almost no tourists, mostly Thai families and groups of friends . Positive and energetic vibe I visited on Friday night and it was about two of third full! You can enjoy your night here , dance and have fun
Almost non tourist place, I think we were the only tourists there, but really enjoyed the place - prices are amazing, they have a large variety of alcohol and food, and there is a live music every night.
Reasonably priced beer, live music (Thai pop songs), good food. What more can I ask for? I only stayed for a while but I enjoyed myself thoroughly!

Carry Your Passport or a Copy
Clubs and some bars check IDs strictly, especially in Bangkok's Thonglor, RCA, and Sukhumvit areas. A photo of your passport info page on your phone usually works, but carrying a laminated photocopy is safer.
Know the Closing Times
Legal closing time is 2 AM for most venues, though enforcement varies. In Bangkok's designated entertainment zones (RCA, Silom Soi 2/4, Khao San), some clubs stay open until 4 AM. Islands tend to be more relaxed about hours.
Buy Bucket Drinks Cautiously
Island bucket drinks (mixed spirits in a small bucket) are cheap and fun but notoriously strong and inconsistent. Stick to one, stay hydrated, and never leave your drink unattended at beach parties.
