Leisure Hostel Krabi
Compare prices
Leisure Hostel Krabi occupies a central position on Thanon Utarakit in Pak Nam, placing guests within easy reach of local restaurants, transport links, and departure points for Krabi's famous day trips to Railay Beach, the Four Islands, and the Emerald Pool. It caters to backpackers and independent travellers looking for reliable, affordable accommodation in one of Thailand's most visited coastal regions.
The hostel is known for its relaxed, sociable atmosphere — guests tend to gather to read, chat, or have a drink rather than rush in and out. The standout feature is the rooftop bar, which draws consistent praise from visitors. Dormitory rooms, including female-only options, are noted for being clean and comfortable, and the staff receive frequent mentions for being genuinely helpful and friendly. Rooms are not fully soundproofed, which is worth bearing in mind for light sleepers, and the layout is described as somewhat unconventional — twin bookings combine two adjoining spaces rather than a traditional twin room setup.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Exceptional Value and Impeccable Service! This hostel is truly outstanding, offering incredible value for money and a consistently excellent experience. It is easily the best place I've stayed at, and I highly recommend it to any traveler prioritizing comfort and quality service. The Staff Sets the Standard (Incredibly Helpful and Kind) The entire team here is remarkable. Every staff member is incredibly helpful, and genuinely nice. Their positive attitude makes every interaction a pleasure, and they handle everything with complete professionalism. It’s clear they take pride in their work, and the entire operation is organized flawlessly from check-in to check-out. Spotless Comfort and Excellent Amenities If cleanliness is a concern for you, look no further—this place is spotless! The rooms, beds, and all common facilities are impeccably maintained. The Wi-Fi is fast and reliable, making it easy to plan the next leg of my trip or connect with family. The amenities provided were great and ensured a highly comfortable stay. Excellent Value (Great Price) Considering the top-tier cleanliness, the high quality of the amenities, and the five-star service provided by the team, the price for this hostel is truly excellent. It offers outstanding value and is a great investment in a stress-free and pleasant stay. Thank you to the entire team for making my time here so memorable!
Superb location and good service. Nice vibe. Rooms comfy, but not soundproof. (We booked a twin, which just means they common up two rooms. Each bed can sleep a couple) The architecture is a bit odd as it seems to be the remnants of a local cinema. It's interesting, just watch out for lots of steps where you wouldn't expect them. Be warned, if you're over 30 (like us) you'll feel extremely old the whole time, as it's full of early 20s backpackers. But they all seem nice, the sort of young folk who would choose Krabi over the louder Ao Nang.
This hostel has a very chilled and laid back vibe, we loved it. Folks just relaxing, reading, having a beer. The roof top bar is class, and the barman makes the best caipirinha I've had outside of Brazil We stayed in a private room, it's a very basic, there's not much natural light where the private rooms are but the room did what we needed it for. Air con works great! Staff are lovely, really helpful and helped us book trip days (great offers on day trips to loads of places) and onwards travel. Free coffee and tea, with biscuits and beautifully cold water refills! It's in a chilled little street, but close to night markets, piers, shops etc. Room was a bit dark, but really didn't matter since we were only in it at night. Rooms are a bit shabby, bit worn but clean and do the job. Beds firm, but that's the standard. Beware the bidets- they have jet wash level power. Nearly lost some important bits!!
