Sanim Cocktail Bar
Tucked along Maharaj Road in Krabi Town, Sanim Cocktail Bar has built a loyal following among travellers looking for quality drinks without the inflated tourist prices. Cocktails come in at around 100 baht and large beers at 80 baht, making it one of the more wallet-friendly spots to wind down in the area. The friendly, English-speaking owner adds a personal touch that keeps people coming back. The atmosphere leans relaxed and unhurried, with a well-curated music selection setting the mood. Tables come with games to keep things social, and the bartenders — including the well-reviewed Jack — put genuine care into their drinks. The passion fruit mojito has earned particular praise, and the cocktails are consistently noted for their generous pour. It draws a mix of backpackers, couples, and anyone who has grown tired of the standard bar scene. Sanim is a solid option for a pre-departure drink or a low-key evening in Krabi Town rather than a late-night venue — one reviewer confirms it closes around midnight, so it suits those wrapping up the night at a reasonable hour rather than looking for something that runs until dawn. No booking appears necessary, and the casual setup means dropping in on the spur of the moment is perfectly fine.

Visitor Reviews
You have to check out this bar if in Krabi town! the owner is so friendly and welcoming, speaks good English. The drinks are crazy cheap big beers for 80 Baht , cocktails for 100 Baht and massive mega cocktail bowls for 200 Baht that have a small bottle of wine wedged in the top. A few and your know it! Games to play on the tables and you can buy food at the market and bring to the bar. Good playlist of music playing and you can see the live music across the market . Definitely check this place out when in Krabi. We came once discovered it and came back multiple times, gets lively from 7pm 🍻

Tips for Visiting Nightlife & Bars
Carry Your Passport or a Copy
Clubs and some bars check IDs strictly, especially in Bangkok's Thonglor, RCA, and Sukhumvit areas. A photo of your passport info page on your phone usually works, but carrying a laminated photocopy is safer.
Know the Closing Times
Legal closing time is 2 AM for most venues, though enforcement varies. In Bangkok's designated entertainment zones (RCA, Silom Soi 2/4, Khao San), some clubs stay open until 4 AM. Islands tend to be more relaxed about hours.
Buy Bucket Drinks Cautiously
Island bucket drinks (mixed spirits in a small bucket) are cheap and fun but notoriously strong and inconsistent. Stick to one, stay hydrated, and never leave your drink unattended at beach parties.
