Tichuca Rooftop Bar
Perched atop T1 Tower on Sukhumvit Soi 40, Tichuca spans multiple rooftop levels reaching as high as the 50th floor, giving it some of the most expansive panoramic views of any bar in Bangkok. The elevated position makes it a popular destination for sunset watching, with the city skyline stretching out in every direction and a natural breeze offering welcome relief from Bangkok's street-level heat. The venue draws a lively mix of tourists and locals across its several floors, each offering a slightly different atmosphere — from a main party bar area on the 45th floor to a quieter, more intimate space at the top. Cocktails are the focus, with light appetizers also available for those who want something to eat alongside their drinks. Good to know: There is no entrance fee, but visitors are required to purchase a drink. Some guests have reported minimum spend requirements and unclear pricing, so it is worth confirming costs before ordering. Smart casual dress is advisable given the upscale setting. Arriving around sunset rather than later in the evening gives a better chance of securing a good spot before the crowds build, and tends to make for a more relaxed visit overall.

Visitor Reviews
Tichuca rooftop bar was such a wonderful experience, honestly one of the highlights of my trip. Even though I went alone, I still had so much fun. The sunset view was amazing! The vibe is incredible, the crowd is friendly, and the whole place just feels electric in the best way. I actually ended up visiting twice because I loved it that much! The music, the atmosphere, and of course the amazing views all come together to make it the perfect spot to unwind and enjoy the night. Whether you’re with friends or going solo, Tichuca rooftop bar is definitely worth the visit.
Hands down, best way to watch the sunset and get a 360 view of Bangkok. There's no entrance fee, you just have to buy a drink. They do serve some appetizers if you need a bite. I definitely recommend arriving when they open so you can get a table, because they are limited. The music was at the perfect sound level and very hip, you can enjoy it and still able to talk, which is nice. Beautiful design and ambiance. This is SO MUCH BETTER than going to "King Power Mahanakhon Tower". A lot less tourist trap feeling and much cooler vibe.
This was such an amazing experience. For a rooftop bar in bangkok this was pretty cool. 45 floors up for the first main party bar area and lvl 50 for the top bar. The views of bangkok are sureal you can get 360 views. There is a lot of your instagram tourists here for the photos but was still fun. Drinks were a little pricey compared to your normal places but its great for the experience. Highly recommended to stop in if you are visiting bangkok.
Tips for Visiting Nightlife & Bars
Carry Your Passport or a Copy
Clubs and some bars check IDs strictly, especially in Bangkok's Thonglor, RCA, and Sukhumvit areas. A photo of your passport info page on your phone usually works, but carrying a laminated photocopy is safer.
Know the Closing Times
Legal closing time is 2 AM for most venues, though enforcement varies. In Bangkok's designated entertainment zones (RCA, Silom Soi 2/4, Khao San), some clubs stay open until 4 AM. Islands tend to be more relaxed about hours.
Buy Bucket Drinks Cautiously
Island bucket drinks (mixed spirits in a small bucket) are cheap and fun but notoriously strong and inconsistent. Stick to one, stay hydrated, and never leave your drink unattended at beach parties.
