Why go, and how to do it well
One Bangkok is the city's largest new development, a district of office towers, hotels and connected retail podiums on the Witthayu and Rama IV corner, overlooking Lumphini Park. It sits on the old Suan Lum Night Bazaar site and opened in stages from 2024, with roughly 450 shops planned across its retail areas.
I'd come for the newness and the setting rather than a particular brand. The plazas and green space are generous by Bangkok standards, and it's an easy pairing with an evening walk in Lumphini Park across the road.
