RISE COFFEE is the newest name on most Bangkok coffee lists, a micro-roaster founded in 2020 that has grown quickly, and its flagship in the basement of The Storeys at One Bangkok is one of the highest-rated cafés in the city. The room is dark wood, gold and orange marble, divided into three counters, an espresso bar for quick drinks, a bakery counter and a slow bar where rare filter coffees such as Geisha lots are brewed to order, with a monthly special alongside.
It is the polished end of the scene, a café for people who want to try something they can't get at home rather than a cheap morning cup. One Bangkok is the city's newest mega-development, so a coffee here pairs easily with a walk around the district or Lumphini Park across the road.
It is open from 08:00 to 20:00. One Bangkok is reached directly from MRT Lumphini, exit 3. The first RISE flagship and roasting lab is in Ploenchit if you are staying nearer Chit Lom.
