Pura Brasa Thailand (One Bangkok)

4.9(294 reviews)

Housed on the third floor of the Parade Building within the One Bangkok complex in Lumphini, Pura Brasa is a Spanish charcoal grill restaurant that brings live-fire cooking techniques to Bangkok's dining scene. The kitchen centres on grilled meats and seafood, with standout dishes including sous vide pork ribs, charcoal-grilled chicken, and the seafood fideuà — a Spanish noodle dish that draws particular praise from diners. Cold-cut and cheese boards make it well-suited to sharing-style meals, and the wine list complements the menu's Iberian character. The atmosphere strikes a balance between relaxed and refined, with an open-plan layout and furnishings that create a comfortable setting for both casual lunches and longer group dinners. Service is consistently noted as attentive and responsive to feedback. One practical note: the open layout means the space can feel warm, particularly during busier periods, so this is worth keeping in mind during Bangkok's hotter months. Pura Brasa is open every day from 10:00 to 22:00, giving flexibility for both lunch and dinner visits. The One Bangkok complex is accessible via BTS Sala Daeng or Chong Nonsi stations, and on-site parking is available. For group bookings or weekend dinners, reservations through the restaurant's website are advisable, as the venue draws steady foot traffic from the surrounding development.

Visitor Reviews

Great spot for sharing-style Spanish food with a modern twist. We came here with a group as family and every dish was on point—from the cold-cut cheese board to the grilled meats and seafood. The grilled squid was super tender and flavorful, and the pork chop came perfectly cooked and juicy. Loved the mix of sauces and sides too—especially the roasted fish and Burrata fresh salads. The vibe is warm and elegant without feeling too formal. Perfect for a dinner with friends or something a bit special such as our brother birthday dinner. Service is a bit slow as I need to pour my own wine and water at some points. Definitely one of the highlights at One Bangkok!

Pura Brasa in Bangkok is a hidden gem! We visited while waiting for documents, and it was the perfect spot. The staff is incredibly attentive and caring, making every moment special. The coffee is fantastic – rich, smooth, and absolutely delicious. We also enjoyed a wonderful dessert, and the view is stunning. I’m looking forward to returning for dinner, as the wine selection looks impressive too. Whether for coffee, dessert, or a full meal, Pura Brasa delivers an unforgettable experience. Highly recommend this place for its excellent food, service, and atmosphere!

The food was great. Staffs are quick on their feet when called. The atmosphere and furnishing of the restaurant has a nice vibe. One complain would be that it is quite hot because the place is an open restaurant connected to the mall and happens to be in the corner, so maybe that made those cool air from the mall air-conditioning not reaching the restaurant.

Tips for Visiting Restaurants & Food

Learn the Spice Scale

Say 'mai pet' for no spice, 'pet nit noi' for a little spice, or 'pet mak' if you want it Thai-hot. Most cooks will default to a toned-down version for foreigners unless you specify otherwise.

Follow the Crowds

The busiest street stalls are almost always the best — high turnover means fresh ingredients and a recipe that locals vouch for. An empty restaurant at dinner time is a red flag.

Ice Is Safe

Factory-made tube or cylinder ice (used in virtually all restaurants and stalls) is made from purified water and is safe to consume. You don't need to skip the iced Thai tea.
