Royal Phawadee Village Hotel

This place was incredible. The Royal Phawadee Resort feels like a hidden oasis just a few steps from the buzz of Patong Beach. The grounds are lush and beautifully kept, with tropical gardens, winding walkways, and a pool that feels like it belongs in a private villa. The rooms are spotless, spacious, and recently renovated — everything feels fresh and cared for. The staff were warm and attentive without ever being intrusive, which made the stay feel both welcoming and peaceful. The location is unbeatable: close enough to walk to the beach, restaurants, and markets, but tucked away just enough that it’s quiet when you return. The value for what you get here is amazing — it feels luxurious without being overpriced. I honestly can’t wait to come back.

The first thing the girl at the reception desk asked me before I even saw the room is if I could post a good review on Instagram. Of course without seeing the room first I would not provide any review. She seemed insistent I do. Ab wann checken into my room I realized there was an power available. The repairman was sent to try and fix the problem, which only temporarily provided power. At 2 in the morning in the middle of my sleep I heard a loud popping sound and I immediately knew the breaker had blown and again no power, no air conditioning. I requested they moved me to the new room immediately. The room they moved me to had low water pressure as well as I could hear a very annoying sound on the other side of the wall every 30 seconds. It sounded like a ventilator flapping against the wall, preventing me from getting a good night's rest. The next I asked to be moved into another room. Each room has two umbrellas. I took one of the umbrellas from the previous room out in the rain and returned it to the front lobby to let it dry. When I came back down a few hours later that umbrella was gone. Some other guests must have taken it. And the same person from reception kept telling me that an umbrella was missing from my room, even though I repeatedly tried to explain to her what had happened. I felt she was not very accommodating or perhaps did not understand English very well. The one person that did help me there was a male who I believe was the assistant manager. His help is the only positive review I would give this hotel.

Terrible hotel! Toilets are grotty and stink! Air con didn’t work, staff were pushy and wanted good reviews even before I was shown my room. There are hidden fees on almost everything! You only get 1 room key and that runs the power do you can have air con running when out so room ends up like a sauna! Pool was dirty, wifi terrible! I promise you will not like this hotel! I saw my room and made other plans immediately! Not even worth 1 star!
