Why go, and how to do it well
Getting off the street is half the point here. Patong at ground level is a lot, and climbing a few floors above Thaweewong Road buys you air, a view over the town and music you actually chose to listen to. It's open-air, it runs from noon until 1am every day, and it shifts character as the evening goes on, quiet enough for a late lunch, properly lively once the live music and the belly dancer start.
The kitchen works both Indian and Turkish, and the butter chicken is the dish people keep coming back to. Drinks are the other draw. Two house cocktails get named again and again, the Khubani and the Nightmare, and wine is cheaper than you'd guess for a rooftop in Patong, with bottles of red and white cited around 900 baht. If you're the sort who orders one good cocktail and nurses it while the sun goes, this is your spot.

I had a great experience at Khubani Rooftop Bar and Restaurant. The atmosphere was warm and relaxing, and the staff were very friendly. They have a signature cocktail called “Khubani,” which was honestly so good that I went back another night just to have it again! I wish I knew the recipe so I could make it myself — it’s hard to come all the way back to Thailand just for one drink 😂 They also had a belly dancer, which made the night really fun, and the DJ created a great vibe. The food was delicious too. Overall, it was a lovely place and I’d definitely recommend it.
What a place! I ordered the butter chicken which turned out to be one of the best I've had. The service was quick and the food was delicious. I highly recommend this place for anyone that enjoyed Turkish food or Indian . The drinks and food are priced well. One of my top picks for Phuket.
Very decent food and exceptional atmosphere would definitely come again. It is very affordable especially when it comes to drinks we had two bottles of wine red and white both 900 baht each it was amazing I appreciate it a lot
