Oceanfront Beach Resort

4.5(2,739 reviews)

Sitting on Phrabaramee Road in Patong, this resort hotel occupies a beachside position that gives guests straightforward access to Patong Beach, water activities, and the area's dining and nightlife, while maintaining a noticeably calm atmosphere on the property itself. Guests consistently describe the vibe as peaceful and well-suited to unwinding, with premium rooms offering ocean views, a relaxing pool area, and attentive service singled out as standout features across reviews. On-site, the resort includes a pool, bar, and restaurant, covering the essentials without requiring guests to venture out for everyday needs. The property appeals particularly to travellers who want resort-style comfort and a quieter base, while still being within reach of one of Phuket's most active districts. Those after a full immersion in Patong's entertainment strip may find it slightly removed, but for most guests that distance is a draw rather than a drawback. Good to know: Patong's peak season runs from November through February, and availability at well-reviewed properties fills quickly during this period, so booking ahead is strongly recommended. Families travelling with infants or very young children should contact the resort directly before booking to confirm accessibility and family-specific facilities, as some guests have reported that arrival logistics and provisions for young children did not meet expectations. Current room types, rates, and seasonal amenities are best confirmed at oceanfrontphuket.com prior to arrival.

Visitor Reviews

We had a truly relaxing and comfortable stay at Oceanfront Beach Resort. From the moment we arrived, the vibe was calm, peaceful, and perfect for unwinding. We stayed in a Premium Comfy Room with a bathtub and balcony, and it exceeded our expectations. The room was very spacious with ample storage and all the necessary amenities provided. The bathtub was surprisingly big — perfect for a couple to relax together after a long day. The bed was super comfortable, and we enjoyed excellent sleep throughout our 4-night stay. The infinity pool was definitely one of the biggest highlights of the resort. Watching the sunset from the pool overlooking the ocean was an unforgettable experience. It’s the perfect spot to relax, click pictures, or simply soak in the view. The breakfast spread was good with a decent variety of options. While the items were slightly repetitive across days, the quality and taste were satisfying. Another great convenience was the hotel’s complimentary shuttle service to Patong and Bangla Road, running every hour from 9:30 AM, with the last shuttle at 8:30 PM — making it easy to explore and return comfortably. Overall, Oceanfront Beach Resort is a wonderful choice if you’re looking for relaxation, comfort, and beautiful sunset views in Phuket. Would definitely recommend it!

We had an amazing stay at Oceanfront Beach Resort! The facilities are amazing🙌🏼Saw someone write about outsiders taking up sunbeds, but we didn’t see anything like this.. there was always a free sunbed even though we stayed in high season. View from the pool is the best!! Staff was exceptional, helped us with everything we needed. I will have to say, when we arrived they had written «happy honeymoon» on our bed, which I did not ask for.. we did not stay there as our honeymoon😅And also the same room had mold in the shower, so we ended having to change rooms.. it all went smoothly so it was fine. Both rooms were spacious and gorgeous! The breakfast was hands down one of the best breakfast I’ve ever had!! And we loved that they had shuttle transport into the city, it was very helpful on our trip! Would come back😍

Amazing hotel with a breathtaking room view. The service was excellent and the in-room facilities were perfect and comfortable. The pool area was beautiful and very relaxing. The best part of our stay was the kids’ nursery — fully equipped, clean, and very welcoming. The staff were incredibly kind and caring with my child. He was always happy and excited to go there. Special thanks to Mia and Tena 🤍

Tips for Visiting Hotels & Resorts

Book Shoulder Season

May–June and September–October offer dramatic discounts (30–50% off peak rates) with fewer crowds. Weather is mixed but rarely a washout — afternoon showers clear quickly.

Compare OTAs and Direct Rates

Always check the hotel's own website after finding a rate on Agoda or Booking.com. Many Thai properties offer a best-rate guarantee or throw in perks like free breakfast when you book direct.

Pool Villa Doesn't Mean Expensive

Private pool villas in Krabi, Hua Hin, and Chiang Mai start around 2,500–4,000 THB/night — a fraction of Bali or Maldives prices. Search specifically for 'pool villa' to surface hidden gems.
