Sati Spa
Sati Spa occupies a dedicated sanctuary within the InterContinental Phuket Resort on Kamala Beach, drawing on traditional Thai temple architecture to create an atmosphere of calm that sets it apart from typical hotel spa facilities. The design, combined with lush tropical surroundings, gives the space a distinctly serene quality that complements its treatment menu. Guests can expect professional massage therapies including 90-minute full-body treatments, delivered by attentive staff in a tranquil, well-appointed setting. The spa has drawn consistent praise for its peaceful environment and the quality of its therapists, with several reviewers singling out individual staff members by name. As with most luxury resort spas, pricing sits at a premium compared to standalone spas in the surrounding area, and treatments are subject to VAT and service charges on top of the listed price — something worth factoring in when budgeting. The spa is open every day from 10:00 to 22:00, making evening appointments a practical option after a day at the beach. Booking in advance is advisable, particularly during peak season, as availability can be limited for guests staying at the resort. Non-hotel guests should confirm access and pricing directly via the InterContinental Phuket Resort website before visiting.

We enjoyed our stay at the hotel a lot. very attentive staff. Lightning-fast room service. Everything was very fast and clear. very beautiful and well-groomed area. there is its own beach area with wonderful service, which is very rare in Phuket. You can feel the presence of a structural organization of all processes in the hotel, from waiting at the reception desk to the distribution of tables at breakfast. Everything is done to reduce your waiting time. Nice spa. Wonderful restaurant Jaras and beach restaurant Pine. There are many small moments that make your stay at the hotel very comfortable and give the desire to come back again. Amazing staff throughout the hotel, with great kindness towards every guest.
While staying in the Intercontinental Phuket Resort I booked a massage in the Sati Spa within the hotel and it was great. The building, inspired on a traditional temple, the calm environment and the treatment itself, everything was great. Thank you Milky for being so nice and welcoming and for the amazing massage!

Tips for Visiting Wellness & Spas
Learn Wat Pho First
Wat Pho in Bangkok is the birthplace of traditional Thai massage education. Their on-site massage pavilion offers excellent treatments from students and graduates at reasonable prices — and you know the technique is authentic.
Communicate Pressure Preferences
Thai massage can be intense. Say 'bao bao' for lighter pressure or 'nак nак' for harder. A good therapist will check in, but don't hesitate to speak up — suffering in silence defeats the purpose.
Book Longer Sessions
A 60-minute massage is fine, but 90 or 120 minutes allows the therapist to work thoroughly. The price difference is often only 200–400 THB for an extra hour — worth it for a deeper, more relaxing experience.
