Good Life Dacha @ Pai

4.8(298 reviews)

Tucked near the river and Pai's central park, Good Life Dacha is a multi-faceted wellness and lifestyle venue that draws visitors for its infrared and steam saunas, ice baths, and herbal tea lounge alongside quality coffee, brownies, and full food service. The peaceful riverside setting makes it a natural gathering point, and the Saturday market that takes place outside adds a lively community dimension that keeps both locals and travellers coming back. The atmosphere is relaxed and sociable — reviewers consistently highlight it as an easy place to meet people, with staff described as kind and attentive throughout. The sauna facilities are a particular draw, with free towels, showers, and herbal teas included, making the space well set up for genuine recovery and relaxation rather than a rushed experience. Pricing is noted as fair, which aligns well with Pai's generally easygoing, budget-friendly character. Good to know: The venue appears to operate across multiple functions — wellness, food, and social space — so it suits both a focused sauna session and a casual afternoon of eating and exploring. Visiting on a Saturday takes full advantage of the market atmosphere outside. As opening hours are not listed online, checking the Facebook page before heading over is advisable, particularly during quieter travel periods when schedules may vary.

Visitor Reviews

Highly recommend Good Life Dacha for anyone visiting Pai! The location is excellent — right near the river and the park, which makes it very peaceful and convenient. The staff are kind, polite, and always helpful. The rooms are clean and comfortable. During my stay, the shared bathroom and toilet facilities were always very clean and well maintained. There is a kitchen on the cottage grounds if you want to cook for yourself. Personally, I enjoyed meals at the Good Life Dacha restaurant every day for 5 days — the food was fresh and absolutely delicious. Special thanks to Mr. Konstantin for being so kind, welcoming, and attentive to me and my friend 🙏🏻

Great place and always a good vibe especially on a Saturday when the market is on . Good coffee lovely brownies and good food all round - can’t comment on rooms but this location in Pai whilst out of town is good as it’s opposite the park and has a river running at the back. Also has ice bath , sauna etc it also has two very funny doggies x

I went for the infrared and steam saunas as well as the ice bath, went 2 days in a row, great space, free herbal teas.and towels, showers and soap, highly recommended for deep relaxation and recovery

Tips for Visiting Activities & Tours

Vet Elephant Sanctuaries

Only visit sanctuaries that prohibit riding, use no chains or bullhooks, and let elephants roam freely. Elephant Nature Park in Chiang Mai set the standard. If a place offers painting shows or circus tricks, walk away.

Book Through Klook or GetYourGuide

These platforms offer instant confirmation, free cancellation on most activities, and prices that are often lower than walk-up rates. Compare with local agencies for multi-day trips where negotiation might save more.

Do Outdoor Activities in the Morning

Heat and humidity peak from noon to 3 PM. Schedule jungle treks, cycling tours, and outdoor cooking classes for early morning. Water activities are more flexible since you're in and out of the sea.
