Pai ApartHotel sits in a prime central location in Pai, placing guests within easy walking distance of coffee shops, restaurants, and a nearby park that regularly hosts live music and a relaxed, creative atmosphere. The property is well-suited to travellers who want both comfort and convenience during their stay in this popular northern Thai town. Rooms are apartment-style and notably spacious, with comfortable beds that guests frequently single out as a highlight. Some units include a kitchen, making the hotel a practical choice for longer stays. A clean pool, tidy common areas, and thoughtful daily touches — such as staff dropping off fresh water and toiletries for guests who prefer not to have their room serviced — reflect an attentive approach to hospitality. The owner and staff have been noted for their warmth and helpfulness, particularly when guests arrive after the winding mountain road journey from Chiang Mai. For practical planning, Pai is most comfortably visited during the cool, dry season between November and February, when the mountain scenery is at its clearest. The road from Chiang Mai involves over 700 curves, so travellers prone to motion sickness should come prepared. Booking in advance is advisable, especially during peak season and holidays, as Pai draws significant visitor numbers despite its small size. The hotel's website at paiaparthotel.com can be used for reservations and further information.

Visitor Reviews
I arrived at PaiApartHotel after a gruesome but beautiful motorcycle trip from Chiang Mai, soaking wet from the rain. At the reception I was met by the very kind and helpful owner, who gave me some useful tips about where to go by bike and where to have breakfast. The girls at the reception were also very kind ad sweet. The room I stayed in during my three days in Pai was very spacious, had a little kitchen and a little terrace with seats and a table overviewing both the mountains and the motel's pool. The bed was very comfortable, so was the bathroom which had a large shower. Every day I received a new bottle of water, toilet paper and coffee. Another plus of the Hotel is that it's positioned in a quiet area at a walking distance from the rowdy city center. Definitely one of the best places I stayed during my trip in Thailand.
Stayed 3 nights in the standard king room no kitchen and it was fabulous. The beds are incredibly comfortable we didn’t want to leave the room! Everything very clean. Good amenities, provide towel, shower gel, shampoo, kettles, mugs and plates and clothes hanger. Pool was clean and nice for a morning swim. Owner very friendly. Staff able to arrange taxi and trips. Great location, 10-15 minute walk from walking street and centre. Restaurants near by. Fantastic pizza place also! Would recommend for anyone visiting pai, price very reasonable!
Pai Apart Hotel has a great location, right in the heart of Pai. It’s surrounded by several coffee shops and restaurants, and there’s a nearby park where many hipsters gather—often with live music and a very chill, relaxed atmosphere. Pai Walking Street is also only about a 10-minute walk away, which makes it easy to explore without being right in the noise. Parking is convenient, with space in front of the hotel for both cars and scooters. The receptionist was kind and helpful. Just note that reception is open until 5 PM—if you arrive later, you need to inform them in advance so they can come and check you in. We received a room near the pool. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with a sofa and two single beds. The mattresses were comfortable, and overall cleanliness was good. Hot water was a bit of a downside: despite following the instructions, the water was only warm, not hot. It was fine for a quick shower, but something to be aware of. Also, the towels didn’t absorb water very well. The hotel provides two bottles of water, which was appreciated. Checkout was smooth and easy. There’s a 200 baht cash deposit required as a guarantee, which is returned at checkout. Wi-Fi was quite weak, so this place isn’t suitable if you’re planning to work remotely. We stayed here for one night during our Mae Hong Son journey, and for a short stay, it worked well. Overall, a pleasant stay with an excellent location, friendly service, and comfortable rooms—ideal for travelers passing through Pai rather than long stays or remote work.
