JOY YOGA STUDIO
The aerial classes are the reason to come. Beginners get talked through the hammock properly, and reviewers who'd never tried it before came out saying they'd hit poses they couldn't manage on a mat. There's Pilates on the reformer machines too, which is rarer in a town this size. Elisha runs the place, and the warmth people describe in the reviews clearly starts with her. Beauty, Jin and Namob come up by name just as often.
Small classes, calm room, mountains through the windows. That's the pitch, and it suits Pai's pace. Teachers are hands-on with corrections rather than just calling out cues from the front, which is what makes it work for people with no background at all. Some of them will take photos of you mid-pose, and going by the reviews, students are pleased rather than annoyed by that. Prices come in for repeated praise as fair, though I can't quote you a figure.

Reviews from Google
My favourite yoga place in Pai - hands down!!!! The reason I kept coming back to Joy yoga is Elisha. She has called her yoga place joy and it’s very fitting for who she is as a person as she’s extremely joyful very cheerful and very happy. I’ve been to so many different yogashala’s and and yoga places and you can see the person is is doing their best. But when I saw Elisha, I just see that the level of energy that she puts out there, the laughter the kindness, the smiles the cheerfulness as well as the excellent yoga instruction. For me was just a no brainer to stay and do all my yoga here. I would highly highly highly recommend to anyone that wants to do Yoga in Pai, to come to joy yoga and be joyful while you’re at it. Much love,
I did the aerial yoga class and it was one of the best classes I ever took. I am still a beginner and it was perfect for our group. Alisha helped us with the poses and even took some pictures. It was so relieving for our muscles and you could do new poses that you cannot do without the hammock! I LOVED it and will definitely try it again. I would recommend this place a lot!!
Big thanks to my amazing yoga teacher Elisha for capturing these moments so beautifully. Your guidance on the mat and behind the lens makes the journey even more special. 🙏💛

Tips for Visiting Wellness & Spas
Learn Wat Pho First
Wat Pho in Bangkok is the birthplace of traditional Thai massage education. Their on-site massage pavilion offers excellent treatments from students and graduates at reasonable prices — and you know the technique is authentic.
Communicate Pressure Preferences
Thai massage can be intense. Say 'bao bao' for lighter pressure or 'nак nак' for harder. A good therapist will check in, but don't hesitate to speak up — suffering in silence defeats the purpose.
Book Longer Sessions
A 60-minute massage is fine, but 90 or 120 minutes allows the therapist to work thoroughly. The price difference is often only 200–400 THB for an extra hour — worth it for a deeper, more relaxing experience.
