JOY YOGA STUDIO /โยคะแห่งความสุข
Tucked along Maehi Road in the laid-back mountain town of Pai, Joy Yoga Studio offers a range of classes including aerial yoga and Pilates reformer, drawing visitors and locals alike who are looking for mindful movement in a genuinely warm environment. The studio has built a reputation around its attentive, hands-on teachers — instructors such as Elisha, Beauty, and Jin are frequently praised by visitors for their professionalism, care, and ability to guide both complete beginners and more experienced practitioners with equal confidence. The atmosphere inside is calm and unhurried, which suits Pai's slower pace well. Aerial yoga is a particular highlight, with classes structured to be accessible for first-timers while still offering enough challenge for those with some background in yoga or fitness. Teachers are noted for being attentive to individual needs throughout class, and some have been known to photograph students during sessions as a memorable keepsake. For practical purposes, the studio is located at 121 Maehi Road in Tambon Mae Hi, making it easy to find from Pai's town centre. As opening hours are not listed online, it is worth contacting the studio directly before visiting to confirm class times and availability, particularly during busy travel seasons. Booking ahead is advisable, as class sizes appear to be kept small, which is part of what makes the personal attention possible.

Visitor Reviews
My favourite yoga place in Pai - hands down!!!! The reason I kept coming back to Joy yoga is Elisha. She has called her yoga place joy and it’s very fitting for who she is as a person as she’s extremely joyful very cheerful and very happy. I’ve been to so many different yogashala’s and and yoga places and you can see the person is is doing their best. But when I saw Elisha, I just see that the level of energy that she puts out there, the laughter the kindness, the smiles the cheerfulness as well as the excellent yoga instruction. For me was just a no brainer to stay and do all my yoga here. I would highly highly highly recommend to anyone that wants to do Yoga in Pai, to come to joy yoga and be joyful while you’re at it. Much love,
This place is truly special. Beauty and Jin are amazing teachers — very professional, attentive, and warm. I tried both aerial yoga and Pilates on the machines, and both classes were fantastic. The studio is clean, cozy, and has such a peaceful atmosphere. Practicing with the mountains in the background feels absolutely magical. And the prices are very reasonable too. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Pai!
I did the aerial yoga class and it was one of the best classes I ever took. I am still a beginner and it was perfect for our group. Alisha helped us with the poses and even took some pictures. It was so relieving for our muscles and you could do new poses that you cannot do without the hammock! I LOVED it and will definitely try it again. I would recommend this place a lot!!
Tips for Visiting Wellness & Spas
Learn Wat Pho First
Wat Pho in Bangkok is the birthplace of traditional Thai massage education. Their on-site massage pavilion offers excellent treatments from students and graduates at reasonable prices — and you know the technique is authentic.
Communicate Pressure Preferences
Thai massage can be intense. Say 'bao bao' for lighter pressure or 'nак nак' for harder. A good therapist will check in, but don't hesitate to speak up — suffering in silence defeats the purpose.
Book Longer Sessions
A 60-minute massage is fine, but 90 or 120 minutes allows the therapist to work thoroughly. The price difference is often only 200–400 THB for an extra hour — worth it for a deeper, more relaxing experience.
