Chiang Rai Nice Massage
Chiang Rai Nice Massage is a traditional Thai massage parlour on Tambon Wiang's main transport road, drawing both travellers and locals seeking skilled, hands-on therapy. The owner personally greets guests and walks them through the available treatments, creating a welcoming first impression that sets the tone for the visit. Despite its simple, unpretentious surroundings, the quality of the practitioners consistently stands out — reviewers single out individual therapists by name and return for repeat sessions across multiple days. The focus here is squarely on massage technique rather than spa ambience. Treatments include traditional Thai massage and targeted work such as head massage, with session lengths ranging from 30 minutes upward. Reviewers note the foot wash provided before treatments and highlight the genuine skill of the staff, including relief from persistent physical complaints like shoulder pain. The parlour attracts a loyal local clientele as well as visitors, which speaks to its standing in the community. Good to know: The parlour operates every day from 10:30 AM to 10:30 PM, making evening visits entirely practical after a day of sightseeing. The space can get busy, and short waits are possible during peak times, so arriving earlier in the session or outside dinner hours may reduce waiting time. Pricing is not listed online, so it is worth confirming costs and treatment options on arrival. If you have a preferred therapist after a first visit, staff are receptive to booking requests for subsequent sessions.

Visitor Reviews
This place was really nice! First the owner came and explained all the options of massage they offered. We had a short wait because they were busy, but it was not bad at all. They wash your feet then bring you inside. The massage was really good. Afterward they offer a small snack and some tea. If I were spending more time in Chiang Rai, I would definitely come back!
I had been struggling with a bad shoulder for a long time and hadn’t yet had the chance to see an orthopedic doctor. I'm so grateful I came across this wonderful massage place! The skilled masseur Ms Bee, quickly identified the issue—turned out to be a problem with my scapula—and after just one session, I could lift my arm behind my back again. I felt noticeably better afterward. I was wondering why this place has 5 star review status, we were no longer surprised after the visit. I paid only 600 baht for a fantastic 1.5-hour deep tissue massage—absolutely worth every baht. The place is very clean, and the staff have a warm, professional attitude. A big thank you to Annie and Bee for your excellent service. Highly recommend this place to anyone in Chiang Rai looking for genuine relief and great care! Tips to locate this place: It's directly opposite the Chiang Rai Bus Terminal. One entrance faces the terminal, while the other side opens near the Chiang Rai Night Bazaar food centre. We visited Nice Massage and had a fantastic experience. The place itself is simple and unpretentious, but don’t let that fool you — the staff are absolutely wonderful and clearly very skilled. I had a one-hour oil massage for 550 baht, and it was exceptional value. The therapist eased tight muscles perfectly and somehow managed to completely wash away the stress of the Western world. Everything felt calm, respectful, and professional from start to finish. No rush, no upselling — just a genuinely good massage delivered with care and kindness. If you’re in Chiang Rai and looking for a great massage at an honest price, this place is highly recommended.

Learn Wat Pho First
Wat Pho in Bangkok is the birthplace of traditional Thai massage education. Their on-site massage pavilion offers excellent treatments from students and graduates at reasonable prices — and you know the technique is authentic.
Communicate Pressure Preferences
Thai massage can be intense. Say 'bao bao' for lighter pressure or 'nак nак' for harder. A good therapist will check in, but don't hesitate to speak up — suffering in silence defeats the purpose.
Book Longer Sessions
A 60-minute massage is fine, but 90 or 120 minutes allows the therapist to work thoroughly. The price difference is often only 200–400 THB for an extra hour — worth it for a deeper, more relaxing experience.
