Chiang Rai Nice Massage
The skill here is in the hands, not the decor. Reviewers describe a simple, unfussy place where the owner comes out to explain the options, your feet get washed before you go in, and tea and a small snack turn up at the end. What keeps people coming back is the standard of the massage itself. Individual therapists get named in reviews, Bee especially, and people book her again for their second and third sessions of the same trip.
Choices run from a 30-minute head massage up to two hours, with the 90-minute traditional Thai and the oil massage getting the most praise. One guest paid 550 baht for an hour of oil massage, another 600 for a session that sorted out a long-standing shoulder problem. Nobody mentions upselling or being rushed, which counts for a lot. If you want candlelit spa theatre, go elsewhere. If you want someone who can actually find the knot, come here.

Reviews from Google
This place was really nice! First the owner came and explained all the options of massage they offered. We had a short wait because they were busy, but it was not bad at all. They wash your feet then bring you inside. The massage was really good. Afterward they offer a small snack and some tea. If I were spending more time in Chiang Rai, I would definitely come back!
We visited Nice Massage and had a fantastic experience. The place itself is simple and unpretentious, but don’t let that fool you — the staff are absolutely wonderful and clearly very skilled. I had a one-hour oil massage for 550 baht, and it was exceptional value. The therapist eased tight muscles perfectly and somehow managed to completely wash away the stress of the Western world. Everything felt calm, respectful, and professional from start to finish. No rush, no upselling — just a genuinely good massage delivered with care and kindness. If you’re in Chiang Rai and looking for a great massage at an honest price, this place is highly recommended.
My girlfriend and I were referred by her aunt who lives locally near by. We both got the 90 minute Thai message and it was very good. In my 2 weeks of traveling Thailand this message was one of the best so far. The whole staff was very nice and professional. I'll definitely come again on my next visit. Thank you from, Pornthip and Mark

Tips for Visiting Wellness & Spas
Learn Wat Pho First
Wat Pho in Bangkok is the birthplace of traditional Thai massage education. Their on-site massage pavilion offers excellent treatments from students and graduates at reasonable prices — and you know the technique is authentic.
Communicate Pressure Preferences
Thai massage can be intense. Say 'bao bao' for lighter pressure or 'nак nак' for harder. A good therapist will check in, but don't hesitate to speak up — suffering in silence defeats the purpose.
Book Longer Sessions
A 60-minute massage is fine, but 90 or 120 minutes allows the therapist to work thoroughly. The price difference is often only 200–400 THB for an extra hour — worth it for a deeper, more relaxing experience.
