Pink Lady Container Bar and Restauran
Perched at the northern end of Ao Nang beach — on the stretch known locally as Hat Noppharat Thara — Pink Lady Container Bar and Restaurant is a creative venue built from repurposed shipping containers. The industrial-chic setup gives it a distinctive character among the area's beach bars, and the front-facing seating offers some of the better elevated views along the Ao Nang strip, making it a natural spot to settle in as the sun goes down. Visitors can expect cold beers, a solid range of mixed drinks, and attentive service in a breezy, fan-cooled space that handles both heat and rain well. Live music runs on most nights, there is a pool table for those who want it, and the crowd tends to be a sociable mix of long-term travellers and locals. Food is available, though reviews suggest the drinks and atmosphere are the main draw rather than the kitchen. Bar dogs are a known feature of the venue, adding to its laid-back, unpretentious character. Good to know: Opening hours are not publicly listed, so it is worth checking with your accommodation before heading over. The venue is located slightly away from the busiest part of Ao Nang's main beach strip, so arriving by foot from the central area takes around ten minutes. Casual beachwear is entirely appropriate, and the venue tends to pick up in the early evening when the lighting and breeze make the outdoor seating particularly comfortable.

They have Nice cold beer, good view, attentive service, 3/4 pool table, good range of drinks. Live music on most nights, a nice place on a hot or rainy day. Plenty of fans and it gets a good breeze. Plenty of spots to park and serve food until late. A good fun bar and it’s not a pick-up joint! 👍
I've been in Krabi for a couple weeks now, and found this gym. Friendly staff, good mixed drinks. Bar Dogs. Great mix of clients. The vies are some of the best in Au Nang. I love to sit up front and just watch the people and the bikes and cars. Always entertaining.
Tips for Visiting Nightlife & Bars
Carry Your Passport or a Copy
Clubs and some bars check IDs strictly, especially in Bangkok's Thonglor, RCA, and Sukhumvit areas. A photo of your passport info page on your phone usually works, but carrying a laminated photocopy is safer.
Know the Closing Times
Legal closing time is 2 AM for most venues, though enforcement varies. In Bangkok's designated entertainment zones (RCA, Silom Soi 2/4, Khao San), some clubs stay open until 4 AM. Islands tend to be more relaxed about hours.
Buy Bucket Drinks Cautiously
Island bucket drinks (mixed spirits in a small bucket) are cheap and fun but notoriously strong and inconsistent. Stick to one, stay hydrated, and never leave your drink unattended at beach parties.
