Ao Nang Landmark Night Market
Running every night of the week from 5 PM to 11 PM, this large open-air market has established itself as one of Ao Nang's most consistent evening destinations. The scale is considerable, drawing comparisons to Bangkok's Chinatown for its variety and energy, with dozens of stalls spread across a busy central location that is walkable from most accommodation in the area. Food is the primary draw, with options ranging from grilled seafood, satay, pad thai, and mango sticky rice through to fresh smoothies and more unusual offerings such as crocodile meat. Beyond eating, the market features live music and fire shows that give it a festival atmosphere on busy nights. Shopping stalls selling clothing, handicrafts, and souvenirs fill out the rest of the space, making it easy to spend a full evening here. The market is openly tourist-oriented, and prices reflect that — expect to pay more than at local markets catering to residents. That said, returning visitors consistently note that pricing remains fair relative to the experience on offer. A few practical points worth keeping in mind: arriving earlier in the evening tends to mean more vendor options and a livelier crowd; cash is advisable, as smaller stalls may not accept cards; and when it comes to food, cooked-to-order dishes such as skewers, noodles, and grilled items are the safer and more popular choice.

Visitor Reviews
Ao Nang Landmark Night Market is one of the most lively and complete night markets in the area, and it’s easy to see why it’s so popular. The atmosphere is vibrant, with live music, fire shows, and street performances happening throughout the evening, which makes it much more than just a place to eat or shop. There’s a huge variety of food options, from classic Thai street food and fresh seafood to international dishes and desserts. Prices are generally reasonable, and it’s a great place to try many different things in one visit. On top of the food, there are plenty of shopping stalls selling clothes, souvenirs, handmade items, and beachwear, making it a good spot to browse or pick up small gifts. Seating areas are well organized, and the whole place feels spacious and well laid out compared to other night markets. Overall, it’s a must-visit if you’re staying in Ao Nang. A great mix of food, entertainment, and shopping, perfect for spending a relaxed and fun evening.
Ao Nang Landmark Night Market is a must visit place if you come to Krabi and stop at Ao Nang. This place is good for street food options. Very similar to Bangkok's Chinatown. It's a big place. There are souvenir's shop, gift shop, local craft shop, tatto shops but all try to cut your throat by demanding excess money. Though they tell they are giving discounts — but It's not true. They just sell it in higher price during the peak seasons. And they just hardly negotiate. But but, this place has a variety of food options which I highly recommend. From Indian to Turkish, Thai local food, veg and vegan food all are present here. You can have chicken, beef, halal foods, pork, sea food, corns, fruits, crocodile and different types of insects as well..Foods are super cheap if ypu want to try local foods with lots of variety do pay a visit. Bring cash with you cause not all shop accepts cards.
We've been back to this market several times across different visits to Ao Nang, and it's become a reliable go-to. Yes, it's tourist-oriented—but refreshingly, the prices stay fair for both food and souvenirs. The food selection is excellent with plenty of variety to work through over multiple evenings. There's a good amount of seating and local artists provide entertainment that adds to the atmosphere without being overwhelming. One heads up for high season visitors: the food section gets properly hot and very crowded. Worth timing your visit or just accepting you'll be navigating through crowds with your plate. Still, it's an enjoyable evening stroll—grab some food, browse the stalls, soak up the buzz. Does exactly what a good night market should.

Tips for Visiting Markets & Shopping
Haggle at Markets, Not Malls
Prices at market stalls are negotiable — start at 50–60% of the asking price and meet in the middle. Fixed-price shops and malls don't haggle. Smile and keep it friendly; aggressive bargaining is considered rude.
Arrive Early or Late
Vendors believe the first sale of the day is lucky — you'll often get a better deal if you arrive right when the market opens. Late in the evening, sellers may also discount to avoid packing unsold goods.
Be Cautious with Tailors
Bangkok has excellent tailors, but also many tourist traps. Avoid anyone offering suspiciously cheap suits or who approaches you on the street. Ask your hotel for recommendations, read reviews, and always get two fittings.
