View Rooftop Bangkok
Perched on the 9th floor of the Novotel Bangkok Platinum Pratunam, this rooftop bar and restaurant sits in the heart of central Bangkok, close to the Pratunam shopping district and within easy reach of BTS Chit Lom. It sits lower than some of the city's more prominent skyline venues, but makes up for it with a consistently warm atmosphere, attentive staff, and food quality that draws visitors back. The menu leans Mediterranean, with the mushroom risotto a standout dish, alongside a cocktail list that bartenders are known to personalise with recommendations to suit individual tastes. Live violin music adds an unexpected ambient touch that several visitors have singled out. Pricing sits noticeably below comparable rooftop venues in the city, making it a practical choice for travellers who want a relaxed rooftop setting without the premium cost of higher-profile spots. The venue works equally well as a dinner destination, a casual cocktail stop, or a daytime retreat, with doors open from 10am to midnight every day of the week. Late afternoon is a popular time to arrive, allowing guests to settle in before the city shifts into its evening atmosphere. The hotel location makes it straightforward to find, and the welcoming, unhurried vibe means there is no pressure to move on quickly once you are there.

Visitor Reviews
Garfield and staff are incredibly friendly and very helpful. I also enjoyed a new drink which Garfield recommended qhich was the Lemoncino Spritz. Although i didnt eat here, the menu looked fantastic. I did however enjoy complimentary warm spiced peanuts and prawn crackers that were delicious. This is my second time here and i wull definately be back.
We were served 5 main courses, and all of them were delicious. The staff were very kind, always smiling, and truly welcoming. Special thanks to Lucky, Pei Pei, and Garfield for their excellent service. We came here as walk-ins, by the way. We will definitely come back again. We didn’t make a mistake choosing this place. Highly recommended! ✨
Perfect last evening with delicious food and good drinks. The crew is super nice and we had very good recommendations from Garfild who has a great sense of humor and a very good service mindset.

Tips for Visiting Nightlife & Bars
Carry Your Passport or a Copy
Clubs and some bars check IDs strictly, especially in Bangkok's Thonglor, RCA, and Sukhumvit areas. A photo of your passport info page on your phone usually works, but carrying a laminated photocopy is safer.
Know the Closing Times
Legal closing time is 2 AM for most venues, though enforcement varies. In Bangkok's designated entertainment zones (RCA, Silom Soi 2/4, Khao San), some clubs stay open until 4 AM. Islands tend to be more relaxed about hours.
Buy Bucket Drinks Cautiously
Island bucket drinks (mixed spirits in a small bucket) are cheap and fun but notoriously strong and inconsistent. Stick to one, stay hydrated, and never leave your drink unattended at beach parties.
