Palladium Night Market
Palladium Night Market lines the busy stretch of Thanon Phetchaburi in Bangkok's Ratchathewi district, drawing a mix of locals and tourists to its densely packed rows of stalls each evening. The market is particularly well-regarded for clothing, handbags, slippers, and accessories, with vendors stocking a wide range of affordable goods that cater strongly to tourist tastes. Street food stalls are woven throughout, offering Thai snacks and bites for those wanting to graze while they shop. Bargaining is not just accepted here — it is expected. Visitors regularly negotiate prices down significantly from the opening ask, sometimes to half the initial figure, so arriving with a willingness to haggle is simply part of the experience. The atmosphere builds as the evening progresses, with narrow aisles growing busier as the night goes on. Walking further into the complex reveals a larger section that many visitors find the more rewarding part of the market. Good to know: The market opens daily at 4pm and runs until 1am, though some stalls begin winding down around 11pm, so arriving earlier ensures a better range of vendors. Most stalls are cash-only, so carrying small bills in Thai baht is advisable. Comfortable footwear is recommended given the amount of walking involved. The Thanon Phetchaburi location is accessible by public transport, making it easy to combine with other stops across central Bangkok. The official Facebook page is the most reliable source for any updates or changes to trading hours.

Visitor Reviews
Palladium Night Market is a cheap and very busy place to visit in Thailand. There are many affordable food stalls, clothes, and small shops to explore. The atmosphere is lively, especially at night, and it’s always full of energy. The people are very welcoming and friendly, which makes the experience even better. It’s a great spot to walk around, eat local food, and enjoy the local vibe. Highly recommended for travelers looking for a fun and budget-friendly night market experience.
The best night market I've been to! It starts at 6 PM, and I spent over two evenings shopping there. I can confidently say it's the best place to buy handbags, dresses, and slippers. The quality is excellent, and prices are lower in the evening. I highly recommend this market to everyone for a fun and affordable shopping experience!
Must bargain price. If he set a high price, you can bargain down to almost half. For example, 1 set of clothes he opened the price at 450b, i can buy for 230b. Medium suitcases from 900b i got 600b. Limited food.

Tips for Visiting Markets & Shopping
Haggle at Markets, Not Malls
Prices at market stalls are negotiable — start at 50–60% of the asking price and meet in the middle. Fixed-price shops and malls don't haggle. Smile and keep it friendly; aggressive bargaining is considered rude.
Arrive Early or Late
Vendors believe the first sale of the day is lucky — you'll often get a better deal if you arrive right when the market opens. Late in the evening, sellers may also discount to avoid packing unsold goods.
Be Cautious with Tailors
Bangkok has excellent tailors, but also many tourist traps. Avoid anyone offering suspiciously cheap suits or who approaches you on the street. Ask your hotel for recommendations, read reviews, and always get two fittings.
