Platinum Fashion Mall Street Food
Tucked on the sixth floor of Platinum Fashion Mall on Phayathai Road, this bustling collection of street food stalls offers shoppers and visitors a convenient stop for a wide range of halal dishes in a lively, market-style setting. The stalls are notably bright and well-presented, giving the experience more of an organised food street feel than a typical outdoor night market, while still capturing some of that energetic atmosphere Bangkok street food is known for. Visitors can expect a solid variety of food options served quickly in a fast-casual format. The setting is considered hygienic and safe by those who have eaten there, which is a welcome reassurance for travellers newer to street food dining in Thailand. The halal-only offering makes it a particularly practical choice for Muslim travellers exploring the Pratunam shopping district. One thing worth knowing before visiting is that prices here run closer to restaurant rates than traditional street food stall prices, so those expecting budget-level meals may be surprised. The area can also get very crowded, especially given its proximity to CentralWorld and the surrounding malls. Visiting during off-peak hours, such as mid-morning or mid-afternoon, may help avoid the busiest rushes. Opening hours are not confirmed in advance, so it is worth checking locally before making a special trip.

Visitor Reviews
It was the perfect place to enjoy the lively atmosphere of the food stalls, while also being hygienic and safe! However, the prices were the same as regular restaurants, rather than food stall prices, which may be because it's a tourist spot.
Had I been able to wait longer for lunch by ending my shopping spree altogether, I would have fancied myself some street food instead of the mall's food court. The street food stalls were so bright and provided a different kind of ambience to the mall, which must be comparing modern life in its varying ways. I enjoyed my coconut smoothie - it was absolutely wonderful!
Nice tastes and a good introduction to the night markets of Bangkok. Expensive food for a market, not too many buying options and way too crowded because of the central world mall next to it, that’s why 4 stars. Worths a visit as there are other night markets nearby (platinum, watergate and pratunam).
Tips for Visiting Restaurants & Food
Learn the Spice Scale
Say 'mai pet' for no spice, 'pet nit noi' for a little spice, or 'pet mak' if you want it Thai-hot. Most cooks will default to a toned-down version for foreigners unless you specify otherwise.
Follow the Crowds
The busiest street stalls are almost always the best — high turnover means fresh ingredients and a recipe that locals vouch for. An empty restaurant at dinner time is a red flag.
Ice Is Safe
Factory-made tube or cylinder ice (used in virtually all restaurants and stalls) is made from purified water and is safe to consume. You don't need to skip the iced Thai tea.
