Sugar Club Bangkok
A dedicated hip-hop and R&B club on Sukhumvit Soi 11, Sugar Club stands apart from the area's general bar scene with a clear musical identity and consistent DJ programming. Rather than catering to a broad mix of music styles, the venue commits fully to its niche, drawing a crowd that comes specifically for the music. The club runs two separate halls: a main room focused on hip-hop spanning old school through to current trap, and a second space dedicated to afrobeat and dancehall. The atmosphere is dance-forward and social, with a mixed crowd of locals and tourists that visitors describe as welcoming and friendly. Drinks are reasonably priced relative to Bangkok's nightclub scene, and the energy builds considerably as the night progresses, with the venue filling to capacity even on Sundays. Good to know: Sugar Club is firmly a late-night destination — arriving before 10 PM means a quieter room, but those concerned about crowds may want to get there earlier rather than later on weekends. Nana BTS station is a short walk away, making it easy to reach and to leave at the end of the night. No website is currently available, so checking the club's social media channels or contacting them directly before visiting is the most reliable way to confirm current opening hours and any entry requirements.

Visitor Reviews
Update: We want back for round three on our final day (until we're back!), this was also on a Sunday which surprisingly still filled completely up, and it did not disappoint! The music was lit, the energy was on point, the service was exceptional as always - Ann was fire with her vibrant personality, Ton and Bon brought the energy big time keeping the crowd engaged and continually loving the vibes - hands down one of my favorite club experiences to date! Second time here, and as before the service from the staff was exceptional! The music was incredible alongside the atmosphere and energy from the club. It really does come down to the attention to service and creating an exuberant environment; that, combined with humor and a super positive atmosphere really made it an incredibly fun night out! Shout out to Ann and Maew for making the night safe, fun and filled with nonstop energy and good vibes! Until next time - we highly recommend, will run around $80 per with bottle service which is an exceptionally good deal for front row access to the stage and DJ
If you're a Hip-hop lover, Sugar is absolutely a must-visit in Bangkok. The music taste here is honestly legit—from Old School to the latest Trap, the DJ really knows what the crowd wants! I also want to give a huge shoutout to the staff and service. They are professional and super friendly, making the whole experience feel safe and relaxed. Drink prices are also very reasonable for This area. Whether you're coming with a squad or looking to meet new people, this is the GOOD choice for Bangkok nightlife. Highly recommended!
Good hip-hop music and a lively atmosphere, especially later at night. The club gets quite crowded during peak hours and prices are a bit higher than average. Service is fine and the crowd is mostly international. Best suited for people who come to dance and enjoy a party vibe rather than a chill night out

Tips for Visiting Nightlife & Bars
Carry Your Passport or a Copy
Clubs and some bars check IDs strictly, especially in Bangkok's Thonglor, RCA, and Sukhumvit areas. A photo of your passport info page on your phone usually works, but carrying a laminated photocopy is safer.
Know the Closing Times
Legal closing time is 2 AM for most venues, though enforcement varies. In Bangkok's designated entertainment zones (RCA, Silom Soi 2/4, Khao San), some clubs stay open until 4 AM. Islands tend to be more relaxed about hours.
Buy Bucket Drinks Cautiously
Island bucket drinks (mixed spirits in a small bucket) are cheap and fun but notoriously strong and inconsistent. Stick to one, stay hydrated, and never leave your drink unattended at beach parties.
