Climax
Tucked into the basement of the Ambassador Hotel on Sukhumvit Soi 11, this late-night club runs from around 10pm through to 6am, making it one of the later options in Bangkok's central nightlife corridor. The venue hosts three different live bands each night, with DJs keeping the dance floor moving and exotic dancers joining the lineup from midnight onwards. The basement setting creates a dark, enclosed atmosphere that leans into the after-hours energy the crowd comes for. Mid-range pricing makes it broadly accessible, and VIP lounges with sofas are available for groups celebrating birthdays or special occasions, reportedly unlocked at spend thresholds around 5,000 baht. The dance floor gets packed, and the lighting is intentionally dim, so this suits those who enjoy a high-energy, immersive club environment rather than a relaxed drinks setting. Good to know: Some visitors have reported concerns about billing practices and pressure tactics, so it pays to confirm drink prices and any cover charges upfront before ordering. Entry typically requires purchasing at least one drink, and solo visitors may find the atmosphere less accommodating than those arriving in groups. The Soi 11 location is well-connected by BTS Nana station, a short walk away, which makes getting there and leaving straightforward.

Visitor Reviews
Absolutely fantastic bar with 3 different live bands every night!!! From 10pm until 6am!!! Exotic male and female dancers from 12am onwards. If you spend over 5k baht you can get in one of the VIP lounge areas with your own personal attendant to prepare your drinks for you. Drinks are quite expensive though but if you go before 1am it's cheaper. The staff are amazing here. Loved it!
Climax Club is hands down one of the most fun late-night spots on Soi 11. If you’re into high-energy electronic music, packed dance floors, and a true after-hours vibe, this place delivers. The DJs keep the tempo up all night with a solid mix of EDM and house that makes it hard to stop dancing. You have to go late as it does not really open until 11pm.

Tips for Visiting Nightlife & Bars
Carry Your Passport or a Copy
Clubs and some bars check IDs strictly, especially in Bangkok's Thonglor, RCA, and Sukhumvit areas. A photo of your passport info page on your phone usually works, but carrying a laminated photocopy is safer.
Know the Closing Times
Legal closing time is 2 AM for most venues, though enforcement varies. In Bangkok's designated entertainment zones (RCA, Silom Soi 2/4, Khao San), some clubs stay open until 4 AM. Islands tend to be more relaxed about hours.
Buy Bucket Drinks Cautiously
Island bucket drinks (mixed spirits in a small bucket) are cheap and fun but notoriously strong and inconsistent. Stick to one, stay hydrated, and never leave your drink unattended at beach parties.
