Bangkok's nightlife sits in a few areas. Sukhumvit Soi 11 has Levels, Sugar Club, Havana Social and the Above Eleven rooftop within a short walk. RCA, off Rama 9 Road, is the club strip, with Route 66 and Onyx side by side. Thonglor and Ekkamai, further along Sukhumvit, are the stylish bar districts, with Sing Sing Theater and the Octave rooftop nearby, and Khao San Road is the backpacker street in the old city.
Clubs open at 21:00 or 22:00, fill after midnight and close around 03:00–04:00. The rooftops are for the hours before, from sunset.
