Hide Cafe Bar Tani Road
Tucked away on Tani Road just a short walk from Khao San Road, Hide Cafe Bar has built a loyal following among travellers and locals looking for a low-key spot to unwind without the intensity of Bangkok's bigger nightlife strips. The venue operates around the clock, meaning it works equally well as an afternoon hangout, an evening drinks stop, or a late-night retreat. The bar leans heavily into entertainment alongside its drinks menu. A pool table, board games including Uno and Connect 4, and a dedicated smoking area give visitors plenty to do beyond just drinking. Staff are consistently praised for being friendly and knowledgeable, offering drink recommendations that go beyond the obvious. Snacks such as fries are available to keep things going, and beers are served on ice in the Thai style. The atmosphere is described by regulars as cosy and welcoming, with music that sets a relaxed rather than overwhelming tone. Visitors should be aware that this is an openly cannabis-friendly venue, which shapes the crowd and overall atmosphere — worth knowing before deciding whether it suits your preferences. With 24-hour opening hours, there is no bad time to drop in, though the evenings tend to draw a livelier mix of guests. The central location makes it easy to reach by taxi or tuk-tuk, and the proximity to Khao San Road means it fits naturally into an evening exploring that part of the city. Check hidecafebar.com for any updates before visiting.

Visitor Reviews
I had such a great time at this bar! The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, the music creates the perfect vibe, and the staff are super friendly and attentive. The drinks are well-made, reasonably priced, and there’s a good variety to choose from. It’s a perfect spot whether you want to relax with friends, enjoy a date night, or just unwind after a long day. Highly recommend!
This honestly is such a great place to chill out when escaping the heat. The pool table 20$baht and all the games was fun to play was free like uno, connected 4, Such great variety of games while drinking. The crafted tapped beers is abit expensive but it was worth every drop 🥹🤤.
A great weed friendly spot to hangout, play pool. You can also get snacks like fries and some alcohol. There are board games as well. The owner, Joe treated us very well and is very friendly. Do not miss out if you ever come to Khaosarn

Tips for Visiting Nightlife & Bars
Carry Your Passport or a Copy
Clubs and some bars check IDs strictly, especially in Bangkok's Thonglor, RCA, and Sukhumvit areas. A photo of your passport info page on your phone usually works, but carrying a laminated photocopy is safer.
Know the Closing Times
Legal closing time is 2 AM for most venues, though enforcement varies. In Bangkok's designated entertainment zones (RCA, Silom Soi 2/4, Khao San), some clubs stay open until 4 AM. Islands tend to be more relaxed about hours.
Buy Bucket Drinks Cautiously
Island bucket drinks (mixed spirits in a small bucket) are cheap and fun but notoriously strong and inconsistent. Stick to one, stay hydrated, and never leave your drink unattended at beach parties.
