Nomad Beach Club Phuket

4.9(6,737 reviews)

Sitting directly on Bang Tao beach in Phuket's Cherngtalay district, this well-regarded beach club runs from a relaxed morning atmosphere all the way through to a lively late-night scene, closing at 1am every day of the week. The setting is polished without being stiff — guests arrive for sunbeds and ocean views and tend to stay well into the evening as the energy builds. A fire show runs after dark, and the food menu draws consistent praise, with pizzas and a strong cocktails list among the highlights. Families with young children visit comfortably in the early evening hours, while couples and groups looking for nightlife will find the atmosphere shifts noticeably later in the night. The Bang Tao location works in its favour — it sits within a well-developed stretch of Phuket's west coast, close to a range of accommodation options, and is noticeably calmer than the busier tourist strip around Patong. Repeat visitors frequently mention attentive staff and a venue that holds up well across multiple visits. Worth knowing before arriving: a handful of visitors have reported difficulty finding the entrance, so checking directions on the venue's website at nomadbeachclubphuket.com before the first visit is a practical step. The site also lists current event schedules and any applicable minimum spend requirements, which can vary depending on the day and time of visit.

Visitor Reviews

We spent a day here during our honeymoon in Thailand. After a few busy days of activities, kayaking, hiking, it was the perfect day of relaxing. We tried lots of different cocktails and they were all really good, the food was excellent quality and very tasty (the pizzas were a highlight!) The servers were all really friendly and attentive. The beach is busy but the water was really nice to swim in, good to have showers to rinse off as well. We had a brilliant time here! A few reviews mention it being difficult to get to from the main road - it takes literally one minute to walk from the back of the place (car park area) to the beach. (Why would you want the main road to be any closer…?) Make sure you select a bar behind on the taxi app for drop off, and then just walk through to the beach.

One of the most luxurious beach clubs I’ve visited in Phuket! The atmosphere was classy and we were welcomed with a tasty drink. We ordered pizza, fries, and a passion fruit drink — all delicious 🤤 The fire show at 7 PM was incredible! Huge thanks to the staff, especially ZawZaw and Nicki, for the great service. Highly recommended! 🌟

Favorite beach club on Bang Tao. My husband and I have been guests of this club for several years. All the staff is very attentive and friendly, especially Win, who attracted us from the first day. The atmosphere is pleasant, the cuisine is tasty, the serving is fast. Calm music plays in the morning, a DJ plays in the evening.

Tips for Visiting Nightlife & Bars

Carry Your Passport or a Copy

Clubs and some bars check IDs strictly, especially in Bangkok's Thonglor, RCA, and Sukhumvit areas. A photo of your passport info page on your phone usually works, but carrying a laminated photocopy is safer.

Know the Closing Times

Legal closing time is 2 AM for most venues, though enforcement varies. In Bangkok's designated entertainment zones (RCA, Silom Soi 2/4, Khao San), some clubs stay open until 4 AM. Islands tend to be more relaxed about hours.

Buy Bucket Drinks Cautiously

Island bucket drinks (mixed spirits in a small bucket) are cheap and fun but notoriously strong and inconsistent. Stick to one, stay hydrated, and never leave your drink unattended at beach parties.
