Chao Phraya Tourist Boat N13 Phra Arthit Pier

There are TWO different ferries you can catch along the Chao Phraya River. One is for tourists & costs more & the other is a local ferry that is less expensive. You can buy a ticket at the pier that you are getting on the ferry or you can buy a ticket on the ferry. The views are incredible from the ferry eg bridges, modern buildings, cultural sights such as temples, a myriad of boats on the river & the sunset was amazing. The staff were helpful with which pier we needed to get on/off.

Used the river boat (blue flag)as a practical way to get around Bangkok during sightseeing. It works well in a busy city and connects several major attractions along the river. Tops * easy way to travel in busy Bangkok * stops close to major sights * service is efficient from 9 till around 19 hrs * there is also an express boat available with less stops and longer hours (orange flag) * single ride and day options available Tips: can get busy, especially mid-day and around popular stops

- One of the best & cheapest water taxis for tourists with flexibility of single way tickets and whole day tickets - other 4 water taxi linesroutes are less traversed as all attractions are along the main river - At different stops touridta can switch over to different routes of water taxis - Loved every bit of this boat taxi , amazing ride - will ride it again on my next visit for sure :)
